Alright, before any weird things are said. Yes, I'm starting my own little project. Yes, this story will be starring the members of this forum. I will supply the forms shortly.


This is, basically, Shooting Star Rockman, but in a slightly darker tone, and that the members of TAU/EA are central characters. Some terms and storyline elements are going to be changed, but why should that be a big deal or problem? Fanfiction is known for changing major things to the writer's liking.

The story will start with the use of Wave Transers, which are registered to five Satellite Admins instead of the original three.

Berzerk (Yellow)
Rogue (Black)

If you're wondering, why use Transers instead of the Star Carrier and Hunter-VG? I want this story to start at the "beginning-ish" areas. So as the story progresses, the devices will be upgraded to the higher level communications. Why are Berzerk and Rogue choosable Satellites? Because I felt that Ryusei 1 needed an Elec Satellite and another satellite for those who don't want an element (which means no weakness).


For the most, I'm writing this story. I will, when I ask for it, obtain help from Saito time to time, mostly out of an IOU. (I've helped him in the past with SHOGO 4 - Genkou Aitekata, being the "study subject" so he could "think like a girl" when writing the character of Kiari, and SHOGO 5 - Ryusei no Souseiji, I'm in charge of Red Chapters, Chihiro's POV.) So don't flip the hell out if there's ever times when the writing seems to be similar to his style and all that jazzy shit.

As for what Satellite you wanna register your character to, you choose. Don't choose simply because everyone else wants you to be a certain one or because "such-and-such is a Pegasus, so I wanna be closer to such-and-such and be a Pegasus, too!!"

For those who are choosing to have their character have the ability to Wave Change, you don't immediately have the ability right away. Hell, it's quite possible that you obtain your FM-ian and become a scenario's villain for a short while, just like how the game works sometimes.


Again, I stress this, no uber characters. Yes, I'm looking at you. You know who you are who just love to make yourselves so much better than everyone else, for no apparant reason other than "I'm just that awesome" or whatever stupid line can be created.




I'll post up a prologue tomorrow, since it's almost time to get to class now.

War-Rock, Lyra and Solo's powers are not selectable FM-ians for your characters. You can create your own, or use an existing one. Reason is, because Subaru, Misora, Solo, and the existing Shooting Star characters are still present in the story. But, since this is more about the EA members, they might not make full-on appearances.

Shooting Star Eternal - Ryusei no Kagari Nai

The year is 220X, and the use of satellite waves has become the new form of technology. These waves are emitted and used by all the modern appliances, homes, and in short, everything. They are called EM Waves.

With the rise of technology, also comes the short comings. Because of the open-radiation of EM Waves, comes the large risk of the devices and appliances to be infected with computer viruses, classified as EM Viruses. These viruses can be stopped by the use of the newest form of communications, the Wave Transer. This device acts as a phone, email service, internet web browser, library, and even personal identification. The Transer also has a special slot on the side to insert cards that run all the programs. This is called the Transer's Card Force.

What can defeat the EM Viruses, are the use of Battle Cards. Battle Cards are a special strand of programs within the Card Force, specifically created to combat the EM Viruses that have been known to infect and disrupt many of the people's daily lives. These Battle Cards can range from being a simple weapon from a firearm such as an arm cannon, to complex actions such as summoning a short tidal wave. With the endless amount of EM Viruses still existing today, increases the need for the creation for newer and more powerful Battle Cards.

Now with all the ups and downs of the rise of this new technology, comes the largest problem of them all. All Wave Transers are registered under five different satellites. The five satellites are kept in control by five Admins, in the shape of guardians. They are:

Fire Leo
Green Dragon
Ice Pegasus
Thunder Berzerk
Dark Rogue

With these five groups, it causes individuals to start rivalries, fights, and various incidents, all in which are used in the sake of proving which Satellite Admin is the best of them all. These disputes are settled by Wave Battles, using Battle Cards to fight, but setting the target as the individuals, instead of the EM Viruses.


A solution to this problem was recently established, but it is difficult for the people to fully grasp it. What if you were friends with someone who was registered to a different satellite? Publically showing this friendship could result in another issue, as it's quite likely that others will consider you a traitor to your Admin. The use of a secret bond was created, the BrotherBand, was finally established to stop people's friendships from being broken or forgotten. Now a link between Satellite Admins has been made. Along with a link together also gives strength bonuses to each other's Battle Cards and gain the other Brother's power, too. With more Brothers, powers become stronger, and more bonds are created. However, the people can only create BrotherBands with up to six others. That is not the only shadow, there have been noted cases when people have used the BrotherBand system as a means for selfish personal gains, or to obtain secrets from another and black mail them for it.


There is a light, the strange, but bright future of two young individuals. One of them is registered to the satellite of Leo, while the other, Berzerk. This is the story of their everlasting bond, and the tales of the people's hearts that their bond has touched.

A tale of friendship, trust, love, betrayal, and unforgettable friends.

Chapter 1 - The Lonely Heart



Extraterrestrial life has been discovered. The new space exploration agency, NAZA, in an effort to enter into a friendly relationship, or "BrotherBand", with the aliens, launched a space station named "Peace"....

Man's dream to find other intelligent life among the stars had finally been realized. However, the space station, the hope of man, met with a mysterious accident, and it disappeared to whereabounds unknown.

Of course, many people worked hard to find it, but the space station could not be found. And then, a few months after the incident, a section of Peace was found in the sea.

All hope was lost after that... NAZA took it hard and stopped the search, and put the project on hold permanently.

Five years to the day have passed since...



The view of a standard living room. A medium sized flat-screen television, placed on the wall, with two speakers attached to the sides. A table at the front, and a small pillows for seats around it in a circle. At the right corner of the living room, a small potted plant was placed for decoration.

"I can't believe it's already been five years since the Hoshikawa-led space station vanished." A young man in his thirties said. He was accompanied by a woman who was somewhat older than him. They were good friends, but not in any way related.

"Hmm, I suppose it has..."

He turned his view to her, "Oh, I wanted to ask you about how she's doing. She's in 12th grade now, right?"

The woman replied, but lowered her head slowly, "She would be, but she still can't bear to go. Ever since that incident, she... She's been very closed towards everyone except for maybe one person. He tries to help her cheer up, but it's been five years of effort that seem to be in vain."

"I don't blame her. The girl lost her parents, who she loved dearly. That's gotta be tough. But if she's not going, what about her studies?"

She finally looked up again, "We're managing with the Card Force system. She's studying from one of the textbook type card's Navi, TeacherMan. But she's not really focusing. She fiddles with gadgets, or reads about acting or the stars. She wants to move to outer space to find her parents."

"Oh, I see. If only we had more power, we could've found~~"

She interrupted him, "Amachi-san, it's okay. It's not your fault. It was an accident." She was looking down once again, deep in memory.

The room was silent for a while. Time itself stood still, until the sound of footsteps broke it. A young girl stepped downstairs and began to make her way to the front door. She was wearing a yellow short sleeved T-shirt with white shorts. Her hair was a very dark brown, almost black, that went straight down, seemingly to cover her face.

"Come here and say hello, young lady." The woman spoke, as soon as the girl was coming close to the door.

"....Fine." She walked to where the two were, close to the television.

"This man is Amachi-san, he worked with your parents and the Hoshikawa father at NAZA." The woman said this as she made a short wave motion, pointing to him.

Almost immediately, he greeted the girl, "Howdy!"

Just as quickly, she replied with a tone so quiet it seemed like it wasn't there, "...Hey."

"I really owe them one from when I worked at NAZA. They all were brave people, your parents and Hoshikawa-san." He said this while fumbling around in his pockets, "Oh yeah, I quit NAZA a while back, and now I work at my own lab just outside of town, researching the Earth, space, and the stars. If you want, you're welcome to drop by... um..." Amachi seemed to have trouble finishing his sentence, because he didn't know the girl's name.

"Oh don't be rude. Introduce yourself."

The girl looked around and began to reply, "Uh, um... OK. My name is Yume Kasugeri...." She made sure her eyes did not make contact with them.

"Nice to meet you, Yume Kasugeri! Oh, before I forget, I brought you a present!" His fumbling around finally made sense as he pulled out a strange set of blue glasses, "This is a very special pair of glasses. It's called a Visualizer. I heard all the staff who worked on the station would use them. But, I don't know much else beyond that." He handed it to Yume, still talking, "I found it when I quit NAZA, and I just thought I'd give it to you."

The girl held the Visualizer in her hands, and slowly placed them above her eyes to hang at her hair, "This was Mom's.... Thanks."

The woman asked her, "Are you heading to your usual spot?" It seems like this was a normal routine.

"Yeah. It's gonna be clear out tonight, so I'll be able to see the stars really well."

She pointed at Yume's left wrist, "Yume, your Transer isn't on." Pointing to the yellow device that was on her wrist.

"Oh."

She opened it up just like a small laptop, and pressed a small button located at the top. With a short buzzing noise, the screen lit up, and a profile of her face, along with her name, some strange information about HP and Level, and a few pictures of weapons appeared. At the bottom right corner, there was a section that read "Brothers" with a small number of zero next to it.

"Honestly, why must I always remind you to keep your Transer on? Now check your Battle Cards. Your Brothers~~"

Yume cut her off with an angry tone, "Who cares? I don't have any Brothers, so no one is going to see my personal page anyway. Why do you care so much, you're not even my mother!"

The woman was silent for a moment, "....What are you talking about? If your Transer isn't on, no one can see your ID info either." It seemed like she dodged the last remark and didn't pay it any mind, but it was clear that it struck her.

"Okay okay, I get it. I'm going now, Kojima-san. Be back in a bit." Yume said this, and quickly made her way outside.

Another moment of silence, "She's always like that. I wish she could develop a few BrotherBand relationships with some friends, especially with my son since he's probably the only one she remotely talks to...."

Amachi also spoke a little, "Your son... you mean, Saito?" She nodded slowly when asked, "Oh, by the way, where's Yume heading off to?"

"Vista Point, just behind the school. She goes there every day around dusk and just stares up at the sky. She thinks... she'll see her parents... Ever since that day, time has come to a stop, for us anyway. We've tried to help by letting her live with us, but even so... It doesn't seem to be working. I know we should move on, but... it's so hard to." The room fell silent once again, only now it wasn't disturbed by any noise at all...

Occupation: Mercenary

-Outfit: Wears a long dark red coat that is open at the front, exposing a black cuirass that covers his crimson t-shirt. The coat reaches down to his ankles, his pants are pitch black and look like dress pants. He wears fingerless brown leather gauntlets on both of his hands that have a dirty steel plate on the top of his hand on the gauntlet. He carries a pack of cigarettes, matches and a lighter that seems to never run out of fluid in his left breast pocket.

Personality: Kyn is a usually very loud, and sarcastic. He's always boasting he's the best, and proving that he is. He has a weakness for women, flirting at every chance he gets with any women he finds attractive. Despite his loud attitude, he's quite tactical and always has a plan for a problem or obstacle, even if it's totally deranged (and he'd go through with it, even if it meant he'd get totally mashed up). Although he's hardheaded, he still has a love for justice and will fight for what is right even if he is looked down upon for it.

Bio: Kyn grew up watching kids get bullied, and wanted to have the power to protect people from such things… as he got older, he watched people get hurt more and more, even though he helped anyone that he saw that needed assistance. As a result, he began taking in jobs for people, that eventually broadened to such things as stealing and attacking others, when his old goal used to be protecting. A mercenary was born, and since then, he takes in any job for cash despite his age.

Device: A red transer, associated with Leo.

Name: Wyvern
Class: FM
History: Wyvern usually kept to himself, and is in the pursuit of all kinds of knowledge. He is always analyzing things and discerning their secrets.
Sex: Male
Appearance: Has a dragon type form; has a dragon helmet that looks like a dragon’s head, dragon claws that are extremely sharp, chest armor that looks like scales, huge dragon wings, all connected together by thick red, orange flames.
Personality: Is a very serious and analytic. His words give off the feeling of power, and meaning. He is usually calm, and collected.


Radio Wave Conversion

Name: Horyuu
Appearance: A red dragon’s head with its jaws opened appears on Kyn’s head. In the gap where the jaws open, there is a visor concealing Kyn’s face from view. It also gives him information on the field, when he looks through it. Red dragon gauntlets cover his hands, and extend to half way to his elbow. They look scaly and odd spikes stick out from the gauntlets. Claws are extendable and retractable from his fingertips. A red dragon looking chest plate covers his torso, spikes sticking out from his shoulder guards, and flaming wings that stick out from his back that allow him to fly. He also has red scaly dragon boots that cover most of his legs, leaving his thighs exposed. The boots are spiky, the spikes reaching upwards, molded around his leg. Where there is no armor, his body is covered in a dark red scaly material that covers his unprotected areas.
Element: Heat
Weapon: Double bladed Spear, is colored silver and red.
Weapon Specialty: Flame cards get a bonus in area damage.

Special Attack: Heat Spear Shockwave

Range: Keeps going till it hits something.
By swinging his spear, he fires off a powerful blast of flames in the appearance of an arc (think Getsuga Tenshou). It’s guard breaking, and is large in size. Takes a strong attack to oppose this attack. Once used, he needs a moment to recover from using that much energy in one stroke. Moves in one direction, and will explode towards whatever it crashes into.

Big Bang Force: (doesn't exist until I think of one)


Other: Kyn actually smokes his cigarettes every spare moment he's got, and even in wave form he's inhaling the toxic stick. He gets really pissed if anyone messes with his smoking, and tends to bend the rules a lot. He enjoys starting fights, taunting people, and goading them into fighting or expressing negative emotions, but he's always a "flirt" around women no matter the circumstance. His fighting style is mainly tactical fighting, using his spear and flames in "outside of the box" ways to accomplish his fights. He always screws around with his enemies, taunting them and barely striking back just to piss them off. He'll only go full steam against an opponent that he deems worthy of his time.


Yeah, tried to make it adhere to your form as best as I could without raping the detail I had in the previous form. Tell me if there's some stuff that needs changing/added.

No, it's all good.

But yeah, for the first little bit so that the story can be set up and established, it will be similar to the game's.

Chapter 2 - The Strange Encounter

Outside, the air was fresh, the sun was starting to set, yet the sound of birds chirping could still be heard. Another sound could also be listened to, coming from Yume's Transer, signifying that she had just recieved an email message.

"Oh, I got some mail..." She said it in a very low tone, somewhat disappointed to know. "If I press the left button, then select Email, I'll be able to see it."

She did just as what was stated, and a new message appeared with the subject title "Class Review" from Echo High School.

"This week, we studied about Transers.

Transers are the mobile terminals everyone wears on their arms. They have a variety of functions, such as email and phone. They also store your Personal Page and other info.

By pushing the top button, you can switch between the different screens of your Transer to display things such as your Personal Card, Brother Card, and Navi Cards.

If your Transer is displaying a Navi Card, it means that Navi is currently in your Transer. If you swipe a Navi Card through your Transer, you will activate an incredible power. Navis are your indispensable friends, so talk to them once in a while!

Lastly, all Transers are registered to one of five satellites up in outer space: Pegasus, Leo, Dragon, Berzerk, or Rogue. Thanks to these Satellites, Transers on the same satellite can communicate with each other.

Also, the very symbol of our modern age, the BrotherBand, is made possible thanks to them."

Yume read through the review with a strangely high amount of focus. However, she felt somewhat disturbed when she read the last part.

"Huh, they only made the BrotherBand because they wanted to stop all the fighting between the satellites." Looking at the clock information on her Transer, she began to make her way through the town, "Guess I should be heading to Vista Point."

She was treading through the small garden that was the middle of the small park, and noticed a strange building at the end. A large sign was placed at the top, "BIG WAVE." The young girl slowly approached the place, but then seen that it was closed. "It's a card store, but it's closed..." With an even more disappointed expression, she continued on her way to Vista Point, only to be stopped again.

This time it was a very strange man with an upsetting face, "Hey hey, do you know about the five satellites up there? They're called Pegasus, Leo, Dragon, Berzerk and Rogue. The satellites host a variety of Transers, and Transers on the same satellite are connected in their own network! But, ever since the space station incident, they have been in charge of stopping harmful EM Viruses from landing on Earth as well." He kept on talking, completely oblivious to the fact that Yume was not listening because she already knows all this information, "Anyway, people of this country all belong to one satellite or another. Which one are you part of? I belong to the Dragon one!" He said this with a large smile.

"Berzerk."

The large smile dropped into an angry frown, "Berzerk, eh? Heh, the Elec satellite, that makes it ironic. Dragon is the Wood satellite, that makes me stronger than you, little Berzerk! So..." He started to get into a competitive stance, "Let's Wave Battle! We'll settle which of us is stronger, and prove what Satellite Admin is the best!"

Yume ignored his bantering completely, and kept walking along the sidewalk towards Vista Point. She was coming close to the short set of stairs behind the large high school, until a voice called out to her.

"You there! Wait!"

She quickly turned around and seen three people walking towards her. Two young boys and a girl. "You're the one, aren't you? The girl who never comes to school. I am Luna Platz of Echo Elementary, class 5-A, which makes me your Class President! The one behind me to my left is Bud, and the other is Zack."

Yume was silent, she didn't want to speak to them at all.

The boy on the left spoke up with a shout, "Hey, jerk! Don't just stand there! Say something!"

The other boy also said a few things, "The Prez is waiting for a response!"

"...What do you want?"

Luna replied with a confident smile, "Nothing. But it's my job as class president to see that all of my classmates attend school!"

"Uh, what?"

She began to pout and huff, "I hate it when things are not perfect, so having one person missing is unforgivable!" The boys crossed their arms and began to nod with her.

Yume quickly replied with a bored tone, "Sorry, but I've got nothing to do with you."

Bud and Zack became furious, jumping up and down, "Hey! You can't say that to the Prez! How dare you!" They said together, "The Prez is telling you to go to school! Don't look down on us because you look older!"

"Bud! Zack! That's enough!" The class president said, calming them down, "In any case, Yume, I expect to see you at school tomorrow." This was said, but she barely noticed that Yume was already walking away, on her way to Vista Point. Luna looked up and began to think outloud, "Yume Kasugeri.... Something tells me she won't be showing up. If only we had some way to open her up... There's that one friend of her's, but I don't know... Hmm, today's BrotherBand lesson was..." She showed a nice smile, and spoke outloud to herself some more, "Yes... That may come in handy." Clearly, Luna had a clever plan up her sleeve. "Come on, you two! Let's get going!" All of them walked away from the clearing, back to school.

Back to the stairs, Yume was having some self-thinking of her own, "School, huh..." But the comtemplation was cut short by the beeping of her Transer. "Mail? I wonder who it's from..." She checked the sender and seen it was Luna, "Ugh... It's from the 'Prez'."

"Hi, Yume! It's your Class President, Luna Platz! I didn't like your attitude, but I can forgive you, if you come to school!"

Before continuing to read the email, Yume spoke outloud as though replying, "Huh, in your dreams..."

"We have some BrotherBand homework today. I've attached a new version of the BrotherBand program we use in class, so make sure you do your homework! Oh, and one more thing...."

"Lemme guess, come to school?"

"COME TO SCHOOL!! Okay, bye!"

The email message disappeared, but automatically started running a program within her Transer. A strange message began to type itself, which made her start to blink on confusion, "NOW INITIALIZING PERSONAL PAGE EDITOR..." Her Transer began to show a few screens, and Luna appeared again.

"Okay, looks like we're all set. Now, we're going to use this program, and do your homework! So pay close attention, OK?" Another screen appeared, showing Yume's face in the middle, and six empty slots around her, "This is the Brother Screen on your Transer. It shows you info about your Brothers. You can access this screen by selecting Brother on the main menu." Luna was silent for a few seconds, before realizing an important factor, "....Ack! You don't have a single Brother! I can't explain a thing like this! Alright, tell you what. Just for now, I'll be your Brother." One of the slots made a small bar appear, connecting to Yume's face, and then made a picture of Luna appear with her own small window. "Here we go! Now, you and I are Brothers! ....Actually, do you need me to explain BrotherBands to you?"

Yume began to think for a moment, but then selected the choice, "No" and shouted out to herself. "No, just leave me alone!"

"Okay, now I'm going to explain Personal Pages."

"What the... That didn't change a thing... Is the rest of the school have programs this badly made?" Her face was in complete shock, seeing that choosing not to listen to Luna's explaination skip the whole lesson. A second later, Yume's Personal Page appeared, displaying her name, a few images of weaponry once again, and her "Level."

"This is a Personal Page. You can see this by selecting your Brother's or your own icon from the Brother Screen. So, a Personal Page is just that; it's where info about a person is displayed. You can see a Brother's info, and vice versa. Now, I'll explain things one at a time." A small arrow appeared, and started to point out things as she spoke, "In the upper-left corner, a person's name, Face Icon, and Level are shown. All of this has already been set, so let's move on." The arrow moved to the lower area, showing the weapon pictures, "The lower part shows your Battle Data! The section that says Favorite is where the six cards you set as your favorites are displayed. Favorite Battle Cards can be used by Brothers so you should set only your strongest cards! Let's see.... Best Combo... I don't actually know much about that... But we don't need it right now anyway..." The arrow moved to the lower-right area, "These are Link Abilities. Link Abilities are powers you and your Brother give to each other as a boost!" The arrow finally moved to the upper-right area, "Lastly, let's look at the upper-right! These are your Message and Secret sections. Message is where you can leave a note for your Brothers. You can write about what you did recently, brag, or whatever floats your strange little boat! You can change it anytime, so just write something short for now."

Another window appeared, asking Yume to write something down. "I gotta write something now? Okay, I've got two words for you, fuck you!" She wrote this down on her Transer for the message, and pressed the "Okay" button.

"Next is Secret! This is where you write your secret message! Secrets you can't tell a stranger, you can tell your Brothers! When you become Brothers with someone, they can see your secret. So be honest! You can change this anytime, too, so for now, just write something!"

A typing window appeared once again, and Yume quickly wrote, "I like to eat burnt toast!" as her secret message, along with a large grin on her face, and pressed "Okay."

Luna was talking again, "OK! Congratulations on creating your Personal Page! If you have a Brother, you'll always be connected, no matter where or when! It's neat-o-rific! So... uh... hurry up and make some Brothers! Oh... one more thing... C-O-M-E T-O S-C-H-O-O-L!! Got it!? I'll see you at school, then!"

The message finally disappeared, and the Transer automatically closed all the programs and went back to it's default screen. A long pause of silence occurred, and even a short gust of wind blew her hair a bit.

It was eight minutes until Yume spoke to herself again, "Brothers, huh..."

FM-ian's History: A relatively disturbed FM, he holds no loyalty to any one being or thing, believing their ideas of "preservation" or even more "Justice" were full of crap, and that no one being should preserve one life over the lives of others, but also believing that murder is harmless, as one life can't affect the overall balance of the universe.
This changed when the waves of despair from Cain washed over him, even from afar, as despite all that could change in his life, Cain showed no inherited sign of preservation for himself over others. He was ready to die at any time, and this made him a perfect host.
However, in the time they've been together, he's found himself more and more inclined to protect his host.

Wave Change Design: His dark brown design reverts to it's original gray color, pointing straight backwards and long horns rise from his head, rising backwards from his forehead and behind his ears.
His body is surrounded in gray, steel-colored skeletal armor, and his limbs detach from him, capable of moving about away from him, which is mostly stapled to the ground by the bones that support him up, however, when he does move, it's quite slowly. In any case, his face-mask is also made of bone, made up from a jaw-bone of a person.

Special Attack: Skull Chains - Skull-and bone chains rise from the panneling around his feet and launch at foes across the rows depending on their position.

Attack Range: Two Rows, Diagonally or Straight.

Weapon Specialty: No Specialty

Big Bang Force: Bone Crush - A gamble of a move, a two row ability, if not used the exact moment they're in those rows, it'll miss. Upon using, it forms a massive cage around the two rows and traps the enemy inside, and fifteen seconds (Or a turn and a half later) later, it will condense and crush the foes inside. While it doesn't ensure instant death, it's still pretty powerful and deadly.

After graduating from school, he works at a small battle card store in the city.

FM-ian's History: Falcus has a good heart, but is extremely gullible, being easily convinced that humans are the enemy, until being able to figure out otherwise through his own judgment and experiences. He was sent to Earth primarily on a surveillance assignment, providing information for the more aggressive FM-ians. He is proud of his FM-ian heritage and preforms his duties to the fullest extent with pride and efficiency.
Emblem: A light blue falcon outline
Element: Aqua

Special Attack: Freeze Gust - Creates a gust of icy wind by flapping his wings. Pushes back.
Attack Range: Single row, three panels.
Weapon Specialty: Wind cards.

Big Bang Force**: Crystal Beam - Fires a large beam of aurora-like energy from the falcon's face on his chest. Freezes.

Well that was an interesting chapter, you highlighted some important aspects of RnR so people who don't know it can understand... well, understand some things about it. Yume's personality seems to mirror Geo's, and it fits well. I hope you'll branch off from the game like I said above and give the game your own spin to it.

I'm looking forwards to the rest, and you better keep writing. You've got plenty of reception now... XD

Also, I've added an "other" section to my form for some quirks about Kyn's character and habits.

All are accepted, but I won't be specifying "Dark" as a choosable element, sorry.

"The stars should be coming out pretty soon..."


Yume slowly climbed up the short flight of stairs to reach Vista Point. Taking a short glance up at the sky, she could see that the sunset was almost over. It was almost time to see the stars.

The lonely girl had to go through a small park that had many benches to avoid and scamper around, and another short set of stairs to finally arrive at her destination. Vista Point was like a large balcony that extended past a very large cliff. Because of the scenery around it, especially the stars at night, Vista Point gives off a very relaxing atmosphere.
The stars were just beginning to twinkle as Yume turned her eyes to the Heavens.


She was looking at a lot of the patterns in the stars, constellations. Deep in thought, Yume felt like she was almost being connected to her parents. "Mom.... Dad.... Cassiopeia is so bright tonight... Oh, and today, this man named Amachi-san came to our house. He gave me your Visualizer, at least... I think it is..." She adjusted the glasses to be more steady on her head, "It's got some sort of special lens, and it feels like it has a special power, but... What can I see with it?" Slowly pulling it down, she placed the Visualizer on her eyes, "If I use it, will I see you two...?" To her dismay, Yume couldn't see anything. "Ah, who am I kidding? Why would something good happen to be now?"

Yume was about to sit down and continue looking at the stars, until her Transer began to give off a warning siren. "What is... this...? Could it be their access signal!?" The siren started going off louder and faster, "It's getting closer!" Quicker and louder, the siren kept whailing. Yume kept her eyes and ears at her Transer, her face was full of hope, and was showing possibly the first smile she's had in a long time.

All of a sudden, a large beam of yellow light shot down at her exact position. Throwing her into the ground, and knocking the girl unconscious.

"So... this is Earth..."

When she regained her senses, Yume could not see the sky. Instead, there was a large gold ball of energy floating above her. Scared stiff, she slowly inched backwards to the very edge of Vista Point, wanting to avoid this strange object.

"Wh~wh~wha~~~!?" She stuttered as the words could not come out.

The ball of energy turned around slowly, and a strange human-like face was visible. "You can see me? That's funny. Humans aren't supposed to be able to see energy beings like me..."

"A~a~are you a monster!?" Her voice was pouring with fear, face filled with sweat that began to rise even higher when she took a short glance at the sky, "Why... Why are there roads in the sky?!"

The roads looked beams of light, with small pulsing lines of energy going through them every few moments. They were identical to the roads on the regular grounds, only the substance was much different.

"I must be dreaming..." She whispered this to herself and slowing took off the Visualizer, only to notice that the energy being and the roads, disappeared. "They're gone..." Taking chances, she put the special glasses back on her eyes, everything returned, "Ah!! It's back!"

The gold energy had a smirk, realizing something, "Now I get it. You can see my EM Body with those glasses."

"Bu~but, I didn't see anything just a second ago!"

"Heh, must've activated some hidden power of those glasses when I zapped you." It noticed that she was in a tremendous amount of fear, staring at it very closely, "Hey, didn't anyone tell you not to gawk!? Then again, guess I can't exactly blame you, kid."

Yume's hands were shaking, but she mustered all her strength to point at him, "Who are you...?"

"The name's Taiyou, but humans get it all wrong, so just call me Tai. I'm from Planet FM, so I'm what you humans call an 'alien', I guess. But to me, you guys are the real aliens!" It began to chuckle a bit, "Normally, you humans can't see my EM body, which is made of electro-magnetic waves, but somehow, I guess with those glasses, you can see the Wave World. That road you see in the sky is a part the Wave World; a Wave Road. Ya got all that, Yume Kasugeri?"

Now she was even more afraid than ever, gripping the floor as though she was trying to keep herself nailed to it, "Why does an alien know my name!?"

"Heard it off a human I met in space."

"A human in space... could it be....?" Slowly, she began to calm down a little, "Was it my mom or dad?! Where are they right now!?"

The ground began to shake a little, startling the girl. Taiyou turned around quickly, with a hint of anger within, "Tch! They're here already?"

"They're here? Who's here?"

It looked at her with an annoyed expression, "The creeps who are after me, that's who, kid." As soon as it finished speaking, the blowhorn of a train went off. They both moved towards it, with a puzzled expression.

"Wait, that train's not supposed to be able to move!" Yume shouted in disbelief.

"Geh, EM Viruses from Planet FM. They're going to destroy the town with that."

Yume turned to Taiyou instantly, "What!? If they did that, it'd be a disaster!"

Looking at her as well, the EM being had an idea, "There's only one way to stop that train. Go into it and delete the viruses!"

Pouting, she shook her head in disbelief at it, "Yeah sure, like I can go inside of metal objects and fight stuff."

"Kid, you do it like this!!" It turned into an even smaller ball of energy, and flew into her Transer. "Now listen up, kid. You wanna stop that train, you gotta do what I say! You've got those Card Force things, right?"

"Yeah... but why?"

Her arm began to shake from the Transer, "Take out one of your blank cards!" When Taiyou seen that she was holding a card that had nothing on it, it spoke again, "OK, here we go!"

The card sparked for a second with energy, and then started to glow. "The card's glowing, what are you doing?"

"I'm powering up the card with my energy. Look kid, we don't have much time! Now we gotta find a Wave Hole!"

"A wave what?" Yume said with a puzzled expression.

"It's where a chunk of space has been warped into a whirlpool shape! You should be able to see them with your glasses."

She started looking around the surrounding area, first to her right, and then to her left. To the far left side of Vista Point was a strange orange swirl of waves, quite possibly the Wave Hole. "Hey, there's one right there!" Yume ran towards it but stopped just before getting too close.

"Alright, when you've stepped inside of it, swipe the card I made. When this happens, you gotta yell out: 'EM Wave Change! Kasugeri Yume, On Air!'"

"Uh... sure..." She couldn't believe what it was saying, but deep down thought it was pretty cool. Slowly stepping into the Wave Hole, she swiped the card as fast as she could, and shouted at the top of her lungs.

"Henshin-a-go-go, baby! Kasugeri Yume, is now On Air!!"

Also, I really like the attitude of Taiyou, reminds me of War-Rock in a way. I still can't wait for the first crisis, maybe some full-on action will occur.

Pretty interesting so far Yume, even if it is the main story of RNR1 with a few subtle changes.

Special Attack: Toxic Stab: A quick jolt of the tail that goes two square forward, if it hit the opponent, it causes the panel hit to become poisoned.
Attack Range: War-rock target: from there, 2 panels forward.
Weapon Specialty: Poison panels drain hp twice as fast as normal, also poison cards heal "Trance".

BBF: Null - Acid Drain: Trance stabs the opponent with his tail, inflicting a poison attribute into the enemy, in addition, the attack does 100 damage, it also heals Trance 100 hp.
