I'm really sick and my throat is really sore. My stomach is also bothering me a lot.

Does anybody have any home remedies or things that really help them out when they have a cold?

I really hate taking medicine but I already tried to take some antacid fizzy stuff for my tummy but it still hurts. And a lot of the cold medicine for your throat makes my stomach hurt, or I can't take it because I'm asthmatic.

So yeah, any suggestions? Anything is appreciated. =)

Well, when my throat is sore my mom would always make me gargle with warm water that has a bit of salt in it. She told me to do that at least twice a day, and it usually ended up helping.

As for your tummy, I would usually drink Sprite to help my stomach calm down. Or just have something a bit warm, like some soup.

I think of honey for some reason but you should double check this.

I've been drinking lots of stuff but it doesn't seem to help.

Soda, herbal tea, cold water, orange juice.
I'll try the warm water and salt though.

And honey? Hmmm.... not sure if I have some in the house right now XD

Honey yes.

A cup of Honey with a whole lemon-worth of Lemon Juice, stir well and you get a good-tasting Sore throath remedy. The stickyness of the Honey, plus the Vitamin C from the Lemon (Plus the combo of the flavor) is just wonderful.

For the Stomach, I recommend Strawberry-liquid yogurth from personal experience. It aids those peskly Gastritis-based stomachaches.

Then mandatory rest, disallowing any harsh voices, and sudden stomach movement. If your Stomachaches are indeed Gas-based, then a proper position while resting on your bed should sooth it down. Rubbing your stomach with soothing and gentle circling motions stimulates the soothing. Plus, feels nice.

Then don´t feel hesitant of either burping, or passing a gas, as long as that gets out of your system (Which in most cases, is burping.)
