The PROJECT subtitle means thell change the official title in the future. Maybe avoid the Numeral 3 and go with an awesome subtitle instead.

Nintendo 3DS? Why is Capcom afraid of putting it on the Wii seeing how games nowadays are looking? So a PlayStation One quality title with 3D, of the humanity.

Let´s see some actual real-time footage and see whether this miracle is either a good-intentioned project, or a soft way for Inafune and Capcom saying "Fine, DASH 3. Now will ALL of you shut up and leave us in peace?"

Saw this coming a mile away.

With Rock being in Tatsunoko Versus Capcom, and Tronne being in Marvel vs Capcom 3, along with Capcom stating that they would be creating a sequel from a game that started on the playstation 1, it was obvious it would be Megaman Legends 3.

Does anyone have any idea where the plot will start off in this game?

I think Tronne and Roll are making a rocket to get to them.

Sera is un Yuna´s former body thanks to Rock mauling it. And Yuna´s in Matilda´s body, stuck on an abandonded Cybertron-like planet with various drop pods on the same hangar where Rock and Yuna arrived, and they consider themselves stranded.

And Roll and Tron on their temporary truce to rescue Rock with home-made rockets suffering of Tron´s money-saving defects


Good luck trying to fix this situation.

Legends 1 actually got ported to the PSP, believe it or not, in both Japanese and English. However, the English version only exists as an ISO; it was completed but never released for some reason.

I think 2 was as well, but I'm not sure.

2 was ported as well. If I remember correctly, came out in a bundle with Breath of Fire 3.

Or if Capcom follows the trend EVERYONE loves to follow of just using the necessary space to develop a game, and consumes between 1/3 and 1/2 of the Cart space, then it calls for a LEGENDS TRILOGY. Use the same assets for the basic Charactr models that are on all three games, instead of duplicating and having three different games squished in the same cart.

Returning onto the plot, I remember how Legends 1 had the Tutorial sequence right in the game itself, then 2 had the Tutorial as a separate mode.

Perphaps Legends 3 can start at Elysium with Rock being navigated by Sera and Yuna to find something that will get them out of there, and each obstacle will be a part of the tutorial. And perphaps. just perphaps. whatever is the big plot of the story, will be deep hidden there and found by accident, then activated without knowing when Rock, Sera, and Yuna find whatever methods of returning they are using.

Generally, letting the fans get in on things is a very, very stupid idea. Now I'm expecting them to mess it up with them trying to insert their own OCs and fanfics and stuff into it. Even if they don't do that, I still feel this is a bad idea...

It's more like letting the fans pick which conceptual character design will be in the 3rd game. Apparently, they got 9 well-known artists (including Inafune himself) who each designed a female character. Both Japan and America communities will vote on it.

Kaji's design seems very basic for a Legends character. The character could be more developed.

Ishikawa's design looks like an alter-ego of Luna from the Star Force series. I don't know if that big dress would be practical for a person to be able to run, jump, etc. in real game, let alone in real life.

Itou's design looks pretty basic, too. Could also be more developed.

Inafune's design still has a touch of the Classic series influence in it. Thing is, the character kinda looks like a retro space fighter or a disco dancer.

Higurashi's design looks appropriate for the Legends series. Color scheme is appealing, too. The only thing left is to probably add more clothes onto the character, given that some of the Legend's characters weren't bare.

Overall, I like Suetsugu's design the most. The design is very well-developed even in this early stage. The color scheme and the aerial-themed wardrobe is most obvious. Her personality also fits well into her design.

I'm amazed how Komaki was able to whip up a clean, detailed design pretty quickly. The design also shouts Legends. The aerial-themed wardrobe is apparent, too.

Yoshikawa's design looks pretty interesting, although if this design was picked, I would hope that the character would have some more clothes to wear...

I dunno about you guys, but I personally loved Nakayama's beautiful Megaman Zero artworks and character designs. Nakayama really did design this character in a radical fashion compared to the other designers. There's the sky-themed colors on the wardrobe again. The character looks very young, cutesy and would have a somewhat a childish personality.

Most, if not all, of the designs exhibit an aircraft/sky theme. So, I'm guessing the character will operate in the skies (I'm not too familiar with the Legends series, sorrry! >_<).
