First things first.


Any discussion to try and derail this thread will result in you being automatically banned from participating in the tournament.

If you are coming into this thread just to derail and troll? Go fuck off.

MOD EDIT: In other words, don't complain about certain games not being in the tournament.

Games that aren't bolded are completed tournaments.

Keep in mind, these are the regular rules for standard tournaments of these games, with some very minor alterations.


Obviously, a rule for all games is:

-No tool-assisting, purposeful-lag, or turbo. Seriously. :/
-Disconnecting in mid-match for any reason other than pure connection errors will end in disqualification.


Super Street Fighter IV


Rounds: 5
Sets: Best 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Player who won match must stay with chosen character.
-Winner may choose a different Ultra Combo.
-Color 12 is banned. (This color can distract some people's eyes severely, or cause lagging on certain stages)



BlazBlue - Calamity Trigger


Rounds: 3 Round
Sets: Best 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Player who won match must stay with chosen character.
-Astral Finishes are allowed.
-Easy Specials are not allowed.
-Unlimited characters are not allowed.


BlazBlue - Continuum Shift


Rounds: 3 Round
Sets: Best 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Player who won match must stay with chosen character.
-Astral Finishes are allowed.
-Easy Specials are not allowed.
-Beginner Mode is allowed, by discretion between opponents.
-Unlimited characters are not allowed.


Tekken 6


Rounds: 3
Sets: 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Player who won match must stay with chosen character.
-Boss/Arcade Jin is not allowed. (Jin Kazama with Rage Mode for all-match)
-Customization is allowed.


Tatsunoko VS CAPCOM - Ultimate All Stars


Sets: 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Player who won match must stay with chosen characters.
-Player who won may choose to change order of characters.
-All characters are legal.
-Stage select is legal. If the fire stage is picked both players must agree to fight on it.
-Wii Remote mode is not allowed. (No Hadangeki spam for j00! >:3)

Super Smash Bros Brawl


- Best 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals.
- 3 stock.
- 8 minutes.
- Items are turned to off and none.
- If time runs out, the winner is determined by stock, and then by percentage.
- If a character can utilize Chain Grabbing or something similar, the player is only allowed two steps of the Chain. First violation is a warning, second is a match, third violation is forfeiture of the game.
- If both stock and percentage are identical, or a game ends with both players being KO'd simultaneously (typically because of a Sacrificial KO via Bowser's Flying Slam or Ganondorf's Flame Choke), then a tiebreaker is played. A tiebreakers is a 1 stock, 3 minute match with the same characters and the same stage.
- All people are responsible for their own control scheme/name tag and must make sure it is set before the match begins. Both players must agree to restart a match on account of a controller problem.
- Extending Meta Knight's Dimensional Cape is banned.
- Stalling is banned. (Stalling is defined as any action that deliberately avoids all conflict as to make the game unplayable. Running from an opponent to get to a better position is not considered stalling, but using chain grabs infinitely against a wall beyond 300% or using Sonic's Neutral B repeatedly underneath the stage is.)
- Any action that prevents the game from continuing results in a forfeiture of the match for the offender.
- Some interactions (for example, interrupting a throw with a wind attack) can cause one character to become frozen until being hit. If this happens, the free character is expected to capitalize on this in a timely manner; a failure to do so is considered stalling.

Stages Allowed:

-Battlefield
-Yoshi's Island
-Smashville
-Lylat Cruise
-Pokémon Stadium (Melee)
-Final Destination



Marvel VS Capcom 2


Sets: 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-You may not use any glitch that prevent the game from being played.
-Deadbody infinites are allowed to gain a positional advantage, but not to delay the game
-Winner may not use the “Switch Glitch” to have a different starting character.
-Winner must keep same starting character, but can switch the order of assists.
-You may not use the same character twice on one team.



Super Street Fighter II - HD REMIX

Speed: Turbo 3
Rounds: 5
Sets: 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-Remixed Mode
-Akuma is banned.




MegaMan Star Force 3 - Black Ace/Red Joker

Rounds: Triple Match
Sets: 2 of 3, 3 of 5 for Finals

-All Noise forms are allowed
-All Brother Cards and Card/Multi Noise are allowed
-Secret Satellite Server is not allowed
-Meteor Server outside of Finalize Noise Henshin/Transform is not allowed
-Noise Kaizou Gear is not allowed
-Rezon/Purpose Noise is not allowed
-The use of illegal or hacked setups, abilities, and cards is not allowed
-The use of Pegasus GX, Leo GX, or Dragon GX is strictly banned
-You cannot change your Noise Form once you've chosen it.
-Henshin Archives Folders are not allowed.



Soul Calibur IV


Game Settings:

- Standard Versus
- Battle Count: 3
- Battle Time: 60


Character/Stage Selection:

- The player must notify the referee of what Main and Sub characters will be used, especially for those using Custom characters.
- Players may not change characters when a ‘match’ has started.
- All Star Wars characters are banned.
- Stage Selection is set to RANDOM
- Ivy’s Infinite Combo is banned. Any player caught using this loses the current round by default. If the same player uses the same exploit again, he will be disqualified.

Controller:

- Personal equipment such as arcade sticks will be allowed.

Control Settings:
- Mapping multiple-button shortcuts to single buttons will NOT BE ALLOWED. Players must configure their controls before their match and ensure that shortcuts are not mapped to any single button.
- Only four actions may be mapped to the buttons on the controller or the player’s arcade fighting stick: G, K, A, B. The other buttons must be mapped to “---“.


Marvel VS CAPCOM 3 - Fate of Two Worlds

-Best of 3 matches up to Semi-Finals
-Best of 5 matches for Finals
-Player who won match must stick to team chosen.
-Player who won match may change the team order.
-Zero's Sougenmu glitch is banned. Use of this glitch is an automatic disqualification from the tournament.
-Spencer's lock glitch is banned. Use of this glitch is an automatic disqualification from the tournament.
-Simple Mode is banned.
-All characters are permitted.

I forgot to post this when I actually made the decision but I'm withdrawing from the tournaments I've entered. I've lost all motivation for taking part in it and I should have trusted my instincts by not entering it in the first place. This also means I'm forfeiting the Super tournament so whoever my opponent was can go on to the next round.

Yeah, guys.

Christmas is over and people should have time now for at least a 20 minute fight.

Last time I checked, if you signed up for a tournament, it means you knew you would have time for it at some point.


It is also NOT our fault that so many people quitted. It was their choice.

So why am I not getting my 2nd place emblem? ._.
