Chapter One: Missing Teacher!

"LAN!!! What are you still doing in bed??" Mrs. Hikari screamed at her son, Lan who was still in bed!
Lan popped up. "What time is it?"
"You should be in school!!" Mrs. Hikari yelled. "You're late already!"
"MEGAMAN!!!" Lan screamed, picking up his PET. "You're supposed to wake me up!!"
"I tried...." Megaman groaned. "10 times.... Each time you turned over and said you'd get up soon..."
"You believe me?" Lan asked.
"YES I believe you!!!!!" Megaman yelled. "You should learn to get up on your own!!!!"
"You put too much on Megaman sometimes, Lan." Mrs. Hikari said. "But right now, get to school!!"
Lan threw his clothes on and ran out the door. "Bye mom!"
"If you hurry you might get there before lunch..." Megaman said.
"Ms. Mari's going to yell her head off at me..." Lan groaned.
As Lan passed the arcade, he saw a huge crowd. Lan stopped to see what was going on.
"Umm... Lan? Your school?" Megaman tried to remind Lan, but Lan wasn't listening.
"Wow!! That Navi's amazing!!" someone cried.
"Look at that!!" another person said.
"How can he do that?" a person said.
Lan tried to push his way through to see what they were talking about.
"What kind of Navi?" Lan asked.
But when Lan got through, the battle was over and the Navi had logged out. Lan looked up to see the Navi's Operator. Lan saw a boy about his age with orange hair. The boy looked at Lan for a second.
"Did you see that?" a person cried.
"He defeated him so easily!!" another said.
"Hey, what's your name?" Lan turned to talk to the boy, but he was gone.
"Hey, he's gone!!" a person cried.
"Who was he?" Lan asked.
"Never seen him around here before." a person said.
"Lan...." Megaman said.
"What is it, Megaman?" Lan asked.
"You'll be lucky to get there before the class lets out now!" Megaman pointed out.
"OH NO!!!!!!!" Lan screamed, running to reach his school.

Finally Lan reached Den Tech Academy. He tried to hurry to his class. Lan passed by 2-A, which he saw a new teacher in there. The new teacher was tall and had long gray hair.
"That's strange..." Lan muttered. "Never seen him as a sub before..."
"Lan.... Your classroom's down the hall, remember?" Megaman asked.
Lan hurried down to 6-B. But as he grabbed the handle to the door, it swung open. Maylu stood in the doorway.
"Congratulations Lan, you just broke your own record for being late!!" Maylu growled.
"I'm going to get enough from Ms. Mari, do I have to get sarcasm from you too?" Lan groaned.
"Actually, you're wrong about that, Lan." Yai said.
"What do you mean?" Lan asked.
"Ms. Mari's missing." Dex explained. "The Officials are here questioning everyone..."
Lan peered in the classroom and saw a man talking to the students.
"Chief Keifer!" Lan cried.
"Lan, we may need you on this case." Keifer said. "For some reason your teacher may have been kidnapped."
"Are you Lan?" a female police officer asked. "My name is Denise, I'm with Den Tech City Police Force..."
"Are you working on this case looking for Ms. Mari?" Lan asked.
Denise nodded. "Yes, if there's anything you know that can help, please call me."
"Well... I could keep a look out here..." Lan said.
"Schools out now for today..." Tory said. "So now what?"
"Lan, you should stop at Sci Lab..." Keifer said. "I'll talk to you later then."
Lan nodded. "Sure thing."
"I'll come with you." Maylu said.
"Well I'm going to the arcade, later guys!" Dex said.
"We'll come too!" Yai & Tory cried.
"See you tomorrow!" Lan said. "I guess we'll be getting a sub...."

Lan & Maylu hurried down to Sci Lab. There was someone standing in the way of the entrance.
"Hey, we have to get it..." Lan said.
"You can't go in there!" the man cried. "There's a fire!!"
"Fire?? DAD!!!" Lan cried.
"Lan, I can't get through to Mr. Famous!!" Megaman cried.
"We've got to get in there!!" Lan said. "Dad's got to be still there!"
"Lan, look!!" Maylu cried.
A Dimensional Area appeared around Sci Lab. Lan & Maylu jumped in before the area completely appeared.
"Well at least this way we can put out the fire!" Lan cried. "Synchro Chip in, download!!"
Lan placed a chip with a green jewel into his PET.
"Cross Fusion!!" Lan & Megaman shouted.
His PET lit up and disappeared. Flashes of light surrounded Lan. Slowly a data armor appeared over his body. He now looked like Megaman!
"Rush, where are you??!!" Maylu screamed.
A hole appeared in the ground. A dog jumped out of it.
"Rush, change into the Rush Synchro Chip, hurry so we can save Dr. Hikari!!" Roll pleaded.
Rush nodded, and fused with a Synchro Chip hanging from his neck. Maylu grabbed the chip and threw it into her PET.
"Rush Synchro Chip in, download!!" Maylu cried. "Cross Fusion!!"
Maylu now looked a lot like Roll.
Lan & Maylu hurried inside. The place was on fire, Lan couldn't see much of anything except flames. And Fire Viruses!!
"Bubbler, Battle Chip in!!" Lan cried.
Lan's arm changed into a buster. He fired bursts of water at the flames and the viruses.
"Aqua Tower!" Maylu cried.
Maylu placed her hand on the ground. A tower of water appeared, putting out the fire.
The combine water attacks deleted the fire viruses.
"That takes care of some of the fire..." Lan said. "But what started it?"
"Looks like some of the machines caught on fire..." Maylu pointed to some burnt-out computers and soda machines. "Must have been the viruses, I guess."
"Hehehe!! I don't think so!!" a voice cried.
"What was that??" Lan asked.
A flame smashed into Lan. He was thrown into a broken computer. Maylu spun around. She saw a Navi inside of a large suit with a flamethrower.
"Who are you??" Maylu asked.
"I'm Serverbot #1!!" the Navi cried. "And this is the Gunstaff, my special armor ride!!"
"Very well then, Serverbot #1, take this! MegaBuster!!" Lan fired his buster at Serverbot #1.
Serverbot #1 took the hit, but it didn't seem to make much damage... "That tickled!!"
"Lan, we have to try something else!" Megaman cried.
"I've got it, Yo-yo 3, Battle Chip in!!" Maylu cried.
Maylu shot the yo-yo around the Serverbot #1's legs. She pulled on it and knocked Serverbot #1 down.
"Boomer, Battle Chip in!!" Lan cried.
Lan shot a boomerang at Serverbot #1. The boomerang knocked the flamethrower out of Serverbot #1's hand.
"Vulcan, Battle Chip in!!" Lan cried.
"Roll Arrow!" Maylu cried.
Lan & Maylu fired their attacks at Serverbot #1. The Gunstaff blew up. Serverbot #1 fell out.
"This isn't over yet!!" Serverbot #1 cried, logging out.
"What in the world was that?" Maylu asked.
"No idea..." Lan said. "Dad, where are you?"
Lan heard a noise behind a door. Lan tried to open it, but the fire seemed to cause it to shut. Lan fired his buster and knocked the door down. Dr. Hikari & Mr. Famous were behind the door.
"Lan! You're ok!" Dr. Hikari cried.
"Dad! I was so worried!" Lan cried.
"It seems the fire caused the short-circuit that caused the Dimensional Area to appear..." Mr. Famous pointed out.
The Dimensional Area faded. Lan & Maylu changed back to normal, and they both caught their PETs as they appeared.
"Dad, what was that thing after?" Lan asked.
"Your father's new Navi..." Chief Keifer walked in and said.
"New Navi?" Maylu asked.
"I created a New Type of Navi..." Dr. Hikari walked to a computer. "Jack In your PETs and see..."
Lan and Maylu pointed their PETs to the computer and press a button. A red lit flashed from both PETs. Megaman & Roll appeared in the cyber-world.
"So what are we looking for?" Roll asked.
"Welcome." a white & blue female Navi bowed. "My name is Cinnamon."
"Cinnamon is a special Navi... She can create Battle Chips." Dr. Hikari said. "I found this new type of energy called Force Metal... I found out with creating Cinnamon with the energy that it can create special powerful Battle Chips. Cinnamon's the only one that can create these chips."
"Whoa... Can she make me some?" Lan asked.
"There's one side effect..." Dr. Hikari said. "Like Dark Chips, they're powerful but dangerous... Unlike Dark Chips, a Navi won't turn completely evil with only 1 or 2... But if you repeatedly use Force Metal Chips, it can corrupt a Net Navi. So you can only use a few at a time, otherwise a Net Navi can't handle the power of the Force Metal Chip, and go completely crazy..."
"Not much different from the Dark Chips..." Mr. Famous pointed out. "That's why we're trying to study them here..."
"Somehow somebody found out about them..." Keifer said. "And that's why that Navi attacked. Probably to kidnap Cinnamon..."
"So you want me to protect her?" Megaman asked.
"If you can..." Keifer said. "Chaud's out in Sharo with Raika on another mission..."
"Then just call me if you need me!" Lan cried. "I won't let anyone hurt Cinnamon!"

Starts with a boom already

Chapter Two: The New Student

The next day, Lan was late again....
"Lan, the new teacher is not going to be used to your tardiness like Ms. Mari..." Megaman groaned.
"Well, she just have to!" Lan joked.
Then Lan heard a scream. A woman was running right past him. Rush was chasing her.
"What's up with Rush?" Lan asked.
"No idea... Maybe she has food..." Megaman said.
The woman climbed up a light pole. Rush barked and jumped on the ground.
"Maybe you should do something..." Megaman said.
"Me? Where's Maylu? Roll can understand Rush..." Lan said.
"Probably in school..." Megaman pointed out.
"All right, I'll try..." Lan walked up to Rush. "Hey boy, what's wrong?"
"Arf! Arf!! Ruff!!" Rush barked.
"I don't speak dog, but..." Lan pulled out a rice ball from his lunch. "Here boy, fetch!"
Rush dashed off after the rice ball. Lan looked up at the woman.
"Are you ok?" Lan asked.
The woman slowly worked her way down the pole. "Just mind your own business!!" she screamed and ran off.
"........ That was weird....." Lan said.
"Lan...." Megaman said.
"Now what?" Lan snapped.
"School?" Megaman asked.
"Oh, right...." Lan groaned.

Lan ran as fast as he could to get into his classroom. Again, Maylu was standing at the door.
"Are you trying to set a record?" Maylu asked.
"Very funny!" Lan snapped. "Where's the sub?"
"Not here yet..." Yai said. "Lucky for you..."
Dex looked depressed, he didn't say anything.
"What's wrong with him?" Lan asked.
"He lost a Net Battle in the arcade yesterday!" Tory said.
"Some new kid beat him..." Yai said.
Dex suddenly looked angry. "There's no way that Navi is possible!! He cheated!!" Dex yelled.
Lan was confused. "Hmm... Maybe I could battle him..."
Suddenly, a woman walked into the room.
Lan quickly sat down. Then he looked, it was the same woman from before!!
"Class, I'm your substitute teacher, Ms. Tron." the woman said.
"So Tron's her name..." Megaman said. "I wonder why Rush was chasing her..."
Tron starred at Lan for a moment. Lan felt a chill go down his spine.
"We happen to have a new transfer student today..." Tron said. "Class, say hello to Treble Forte."
A boy with orange hair walked in. It was the kid that was in the arcade yesterday! He also took a glare at Lan.
"What is it? Do I have something on my face Megaman?" Lan asked.
"I don't know..." Megaman said. "I don't like it, though..."
"Hey, that's the guy that beat Dex!" Yai whispered to Lan.
"Not only that, but I saw him in the arcade yesterday too..." Lan whispered back.
Treble took his seat and sat down. He wasn't too far behind Lan. Lan felt like Treble was starring at him all day at school.
Lan couldn't wait for the day to end....

Hours passed.... BRING!! The school bell sounded off, it was time to go home.
"So you're Lan?" Treble asked Lan as he was clearing his desk.
Lan looked up. "Unn... Yeah..."
"I've heard a lot about you..." Treble said. "They say you're the #1 Net Battler in Den Tech City..."
Lan gulped. "Well... I don't know if I'm the #1 battler...."
"That guy gives me the creeps..." Roll said.
"Me too Roll..." Maylu said.
"I want to have a Net Battle!" Treble said. "You & me at the arcade! Now!"
Lan didn't know what to do. But he never backed down from a Net Battle!
"You're on!" Lan cried.

Lan, Maylu, Dex, Yai, Tory & Treble hurried to the arcade.
"You're not going to back out on me, are you?" Treble asked.
"No way!" Lan cried. "Megaman & I never back out on a fight!"
"Great..." Megaman groaned. "He's getting in over his head...."
"Jack In, Megaman! Power Up!!" Lan sent Megaman into the arcade machine.
"It's about time someone brings you down!" Treble cried. "Jack In Axl, Power Up!!"
Megaman appeared first in the machine. Then a tall, black Navi with orange hair appeared.
"So you're the mighty Megaman?" Axl asked. "Not quite what I expected..."
"And you are?" Megaman asked.
"Axl..." Axl said. "That's all you need to know!"
"Let's begin Lan!" Treble cried.
"MegaBuster!" Megaman fired his buster.
"Axl Bullets!" two guns appeared in Axl's hand. Axl fired rapidly at Megaman.
"Area Steal, Battle Chip in!" Lan cried as he installed a chip into his PET.
Megaman disappeared for a moment, then reappeared behind Axl.
"Twin Fang, Battle Chip in!" Lan cried, throwing a chip into his PET.
2 sharp fang-like objects appeared. They launched after Axl. Axl blew them up with his guns.
"Not bad..." Lan said.
"Not bad, yourself..." Treble said. "But you haven't seen Axl's full power! Axl, Copy Shot!"
Axl fired a shot right into Megaman, but it seemed to just pass right through him.
"What was that?" Megaman asked. "A dud?"
Axl's body lit up. His shape changed into a copy of Megaman!
"What the?!?!" Lan cried. "He can change into other Navis??"
"So that's his secret weapon..." Megaman said.
"Axl copies all the abilities of his opponents with the Copy Shot..." Treble explained.
"So can you beat yourself?" Axl asked.
"Just watch us!" Lan cried.
Megaman & Axl fired their MegaBusters at each other. The two blasts collided, causing an explosion.
"This isn't working!" Megaman yelled.
"Lan, you have to try something else!" Dex yelled.
"Yeah, this is how Dex lost!" Yai said.
"I got it! Proto Soul, Navi Chip in!" Lan threw in a chip.
Megaman's body was surrounded by an armor that made him look a lot like Protoman.
"Let's see you beat this!" Lan said.
Treble turned to his PET. "Axl..."
Axl's body lit up. He also gained the Double Soul Megaman activated!
"No way!!!" Maylu cried.
"I told you Axl can copy the abilities of his opponents!" Treble pointed out.
The 2 Proto Soul Navis whacked at each other with their swords. They seemed evenly matched!
BEEP!! BEEP!! BEEP!!!! Lan's PET made noises.
"What the?" Axl asked.
Lan press a button on his PET. He could see Mr. Famous on the video screen.
"Mr. Famous, what is it?" Lan asked.
"Lan, you have to hurry to Sci Lab!!" Mr. Famous cried. "There's another attack!! Someone's after Cinnamon again!!"
"Oh no!" Megaman cried.
"I'll be right there!" Lan said. "Megaman, go on ahead through the Net."
Lan turned to Treble. "There's an emergency, I'll have to finish this battle later!"
"Axl, go with him..." Treble said.
"Yes sir!" Axl cried.
"Treble.... You don't have to..." Lan said.
Treble shook his head. "It's not that. I just want to get the moron that's interrupting my battle!"
Lan smiled. "Thanks, Treble."
"Lan, we should hurry to Sci Lab!" Maylu pointed out. "Your dad could be in trouble!"

Chapter Three: The Cyber Pirates

Megaman & Axl arrived in the Sci Lab Computer. They were both still in Proto Soul.
"So this is the famous Sci Lab?" Axl asked.
"Look out!" Megaman pushed Axl.
A blast just passed them and exploded.
"Thanks, Megaman..." Axl said.
"Fabu...." a large yellow, bird-like Navi stood in front of them.
"What the heck is that?" Megaman asked.
"A baby thief?" Axl asked.
"Fabu Fabu!!" the Navi launched a bunch of bombs at Megaman & Axl.
BOOM!! Axl & Megaman changed back to their normal forms due to the blast.
"BonBomb, what are you doing?" a red navi with hair hair asked.
"Who the heck are you?" Megaman asked.
"I'm Red, this is BonBomb..." the Navi replied. "You must be Megaman... The famous Net Savior..."
"Where's Cinnamon?" Megaman asked.
"That's what I want to know!" Red said. "We're the Cyber Pirates, and we want her!"
"Cyber Pirates?" Megaman asked, confused. "What the heck are Cyber Pirates?"
"You've never heard of us?" Red asked.
"No, should I?" Megaman asked.
"I guess not..." Red said. "No matter..."
Red hurled a huge razor sharp rod at Megaman. Megaman fired his buster at the rod, but it was no use.
WHAM!! Megaman slammed into Axl.
"Let me take care of this!" Axl cried. "Axl Bullets!!"
Axl fired his busters at Red & BonBomb. BonBomb charged forward and crashed into Axl. Then BonBomb launched more bombs at Megaman & Axl.
BOOM!! BOOM!!!
"Let you take care of it, huh?" Megaman groaned.

Lan & Treble arrived at Sci Lab. He quickly rushed into his father's office.
"Dad, are you ok?" Lan asked.
Dr. Hikari nodded. "Yes, and Cinnamon's safe so far." Dr. Hikari said.
"Megaman's holding off the intruders." Mr. Famous said. "But he won't last for long without Battle Chips!"
"Right! Energy Bomb, Battle Chip in!" Lan threw a chip into his PET.
A gray and orange bomb appeared in Megaman's hand.
"Lan! You're here!" Megaman cried.
"Now let's get these guys!" Lan cried.
Megaman threw the bomb at Red & BonBomb. BOOOMM!!! The blast was so large, Axl & Megaman jumped back so that they weren't hit.
"Axl, transform into the yellow guy!" Treble said.
Axl fired his Copy Shot at BonBomb. Axl changed into BonBomb.
"Bombs away!" Axl threw tons of bombs at Red & BonBomb.
KA-BLEWIE!!! BonBomb & Red logged out. They disappeared.
"Where'd they go?" Axl asked, changing back.
"Who cares? As long as they're gone!" Treble smiled.
"Who's this?" Dr. Hikari asked.
"This is Treble, and his Navi Axl." Lan explained. "He's new in my class."
"So you're the famous Dr. Hikari?" Treble asked.
"You have a great Navi there, Treble." Dr. Hikari said.
"Thanks, I programed him myself." Treble said.
"So what were those guys talking about?" Megaman asked. "They called themselves 'Cyber Pirates' what are they?"
"I've heard of them...." Mr. Famous said. "Cyber Pirates are Net Navis and Net Operators that steal, collect, or corrupt data. They hack into the most secure areas to steal valuable data that they can sell to the highest bidder.... They also can be hired to steal something, or destroy data...."
"So that's it..." Dr. Hikari said. "They want Cinnamon, because she's very valuable with her ability to create Force Metal Chips..."
"Do you think someone hired them?" Lan asked.
"We can't be sure, they could just be looking for something to sell..." Mr. Famous said.
"So you're a Net Savior?" Treble asked.
Lan gulped. "Unn... Yeah...."
"No wonder you're called the best Net Battler in Den Tech City..." Treble said. "Maybe I could help you with your Cyber Pirate problem?"
"Well... You did help us with those last 2..." Lan said.
"Lan, I'm going to inform Chaud & Raika about what's going on here..." Mr. Famous said. "We may need their help as well!"
Lan nodded. "Right, plus we still need to find out why Ms. Mari was kidnapped!"
"The last teacher was kidnapped?" Trebled asked. "That's why Ms. Tron is teaching now?"
Lan nodded. "Yeah, but I still don't understand why anyone would kidnap a teacher?"

The Cyber Pirates introduced! Yeeeeees!

Chapter Four: Library Ambush!

The next day, Lan, Maylu, Dex, Yai & Tory were in the library, studying.
Maylu plugged her PET into the Library computer.
"Lan, can you ask the librarian where the history books are?" Yai asked.
Lan stepped over to the desk. "Excuse me, but..."
The librarian looked up. It was Mr. Famous!!
"Mr. Famous!! What are you doing here?" Lan cried.
"Well, your teacher Ms. Mari isn't the only teacher missing!" Mr. Famous explained. "I'm here undercover to see if I can find out who kidnapped her!"
"I still don't get it, does this have anything to do with the Cyber Pirates?" Lan asked.
"I doubt it." Mr. Famous shook his head. "What would teachers have to do with Cinnamon?"
"That's true." Lan said. "But both events happened around the same time, the Cyber Pirates appearing and Ms. Mari disappearing..."
"Try not to worry about it, Lan..." Mr. Famous said. "Just tell us if you find out anything..."
Lan nodded. Then he saw Treble step into the Library.
"Treble!" Lan cried.
"Oh, hey Lan..." Treble said.
"Why don't you come over with my group?" Lan asked.
Treble nodded. "Okay."
"Hey, you're the new guy, aren't you?" Tory asked.
Treble nodded. "My foster parents just moved here..."
"Foster parents?" Lan asked.
"I was abandoned..." Treble sighed. "I never knew my real parents..."
"So you were raised in a foster home?" Maylu asked.
Treble shook his head. "No, by the people who found me."
"They found you?" Dex asked.
Treble nodded. "Yeah, and they took me in, I was a baby, so I don't remember. They told me when I got older..."
"Maylu!!" Roll shouted from the PET.
"What's wrong?" Maylu asked.
"There's some really weird Navis in the Library Computer!" Roll cried.
"Let's see." Lan said.
Lan looked at the computer screen. 2 strange Navis were pulling apart data in the Cyber World. One was large, the other was a little smaller.
"I don't like this..." Yai said.
"Let's Jack In and take care of them!" Lan cried. "Jack In, Megaman, Power Up!!"
Treble smiled. "Net Battle time! Jack In, Axl, Power Up!!"
"Jack In, Gutsman!!" Dex cried.
"Jack In, Glide!!" Yai cried.
"Jack In, Iceman!" Tory cried.
The 5 friends jacked their Navis into the computer. The Navis appeared behind Roll.
"What was that?" one of the strange Navis asked.
"Hey Klaymoor, someone's here!" the other cried.
"Who are you?" Megaman asked.
"My name's Bola..." the Navi replied.
"And I'm Klaymoor!" the large Navi cried.
"You must be that Megaman!" Bola said.
"You're gonna pay for attacking our pals!" Klaymoor cried.
"So you're more of those Cyber Pirates?" Megaman asked.
"Who cares?" Axl asked. "Let's just delete the morons!!"
Axl fired his busters at the 2 Navis. Bola disappeared. Klaymoor shot a cannon at Axl.
"Where'd the other one go?" Glide asked.
"Over here!" Bola appeared behind the group.
Bola slashed Glide & Gutsman with a Cyber Sword. Then he blasted Iceman & Roll with a cannon.
"MegaBuster!" Megaman cried, firing his buster.
But Bola was too fast. He disappeared again.
"Where'd he go?" Axl asked.
"Here!" Bola appeared in front of them.
"Thunder, Battle Chip in!" Lan threw a chip into his PET.
Megaman fired a burst of electricity at Bola. ZAP!! Bola was paralyzed!
"Hang on, Bola!" Klaymoor cried, firing a M-Cannon.
"Take this, Heat-V, Battle chip in!" Treble threw a chip into his PET.
Axl fired a shot of fire at Klaymoor. The M-Cannon blast collided into the fireball. BOOM!!!
"Guts Hammer, Battle Chip in!" Dex cried.
Gutsman threw his hands together. They formed a huge hammer. Gutsman slammed it to the ground. The ground started shaking, and a blast crashed into Klaymoor!
"Ice Cube, Battle Chip in!" Tory threw a chip into his PET.
A block of ice appeared in front of Iceman. Iceman pushed the block into Bola. SLAM!! Bola crashed into Klaymoor!
"Aqua Tower, Battle Chip in!" Maylu threw a chip into her PET.
Roll placed her hand on the ground. A tower of water came crashing down on Bola & Klaymoor!
"We're out-numbered!" Bola cried.
"Then we take things to the next level!" Klaymoor cried.
The 2 Navis disappeared.
"They give up?" Axl asked.
"What's that sound?" Mr. Famous cried.
A Dimensional Area appeared around the school. Bola & Klaymoor appeared.
"Can't fight us now!" Klaymoor cried.
"How did they??" Lan cried.
"Great, now what do we do?" Treble asked.
"Lan, Maylu, you better Cross Fuse!" Mr. Famous cried.
Lan & Maylu nodded. Rush appeared and turned into the Rush Synchro Chip.
"Let's do it! Synchro Chip In, Download!!" Maylu & Lan threw their Synchro Chips into their PETs. "Cross Fusion!!"
Lan & Maylu Cross Fused.
"How'd they do that?" Treble asked.
"They have the Synchro Chips, only a few Net Ops can perform Cross Fusion..." Yai explained.
"Step Sword, Battle Chip In!" Lan cried.
A sword appeared in place of Lan's arm. He dashed forward and sliced Bola & Klaymoor. Bola disappeared again.
"Heart Slash!" Maylu cried, throwing hearts at Klaymoor.
"Bola!! How dare you leave me!!" Klaymoor yelled.
"Vulcan, Battle Chip In!" Lan cried.
A large gun appeared. Lan fired a round of shots at Klaymoor.
"Hi-Cannon, Battle Chip In!" Maylu cried.
A cannon appeared in place of Maylu's hand. She fired it at Klaymoor.
BOOM!! Klaymoor couldn't take much more. Then Bola appeared behind Maylu.
"Surprise!" Bola whacked Maylu with a sword.
"Surprise this!" Lan cried. "Program Advanced: Cyber Sword, Wide Sword, Long Sword!!"
A huge sword appeared. Lan grabbed it and threw it at Bola. WHAM!! Bola slammed into Klaymoor. The 2 Navis disappeared.
The Dimensional Area faded, Lan & Maylu returned to normal.
"That was amazing!!" Treble cried.
"Oh, it's nothing for a Net Savior!" Mr. Famous said.
"But why would they break into a Library Computer?" Maylu asked.
"Maybe we should check on Sci Lab..." Lan said.
"I'm going to stay here..." Mr. Famous said. "I'm going to have a look around."
"Okay, good luck Mr. Famous!" Lan cried.
A little later, Mr. Famous found himself looking down the hall of the school.
"You the new librarian?" the janitor asked.
Mr. Famous nodded. "Unn... Yeah, since the old one disappeared..."
"Yeah, strange about those missing teachers..." the janitor said. "Guess they got sick of their job, or something..."
The janitor tried to open a locked room, but it was shut tight.
"Now that's strange..." the janitor said. "This room's never locked..."
"Do you have the key?" Mr. Famous asked.
"Yeah, but it's just the Storage Room..." the janitor explained.
Mr. Famous started heading for another room.
The janitor jerked the door open. "There we go..."
"HHRRMMMPHHH!!" a mumble came from the room.
Mr. Famous stopped.
"Oh, sorry Ms. Mari..." the janitor said. "Didn't know you was busy in here..."
"MS. MARI?!?" Mr. Famous cried.
Mr. Famous run into the Storage Room. It was Ms. Mari, all tied up!!
"How'd she get in here?" Mr. Famous asked.
"Oh, is she one of the missing teachers?" the janitor asked.
"Yes, she is!" Mr. Famous yelled. "Don't worry, I'll untie you..."
"I wouldn't do that if I were you..." a voice growled.
"Why not, she's being held here you know..." Mr. Famous' words fell short.
He noticed the janitor was just knocked out and fell near his feet.
"So you must be one of the Net Saviors..." the voice grumbled.
"And you are?" Mr. Famous asked.
"Hee hee hee..." the voice laughed. "They call me Mr. X!!!"
WHACK!!! SMACK!!! SLAM!!!
Mr. Famous got hit on the head from behind. Mr. Famous blacked out.

Chapter Five: Cyber Pirate Ship Invades Net City!

Lan hurried into Sci Lab with Maylu, Dex, Yai, Treble & Tory.
"Dad, is everything okay?" Lan asked.
"Something invaded Sci Lab's computer not long ago, and left..." Dr. Hikari said.
"Well something caused a Dimensional Area to appear at our school!" Maylu cried.
"It must be the work of those Cyber Pirates!" Lan cried.
"Why don't we jack in and take a look around the computer?" Treble asked. "Maybe we'll find a clue!"
Lan nodded. "Jack in, Megaman!"
Everyone jacked in. Megaman, Axl, Roll, Glide, Gutsman, & Iceman appeared.
Cinnamon showed up. "Hello Megaman...."
"Cinnamon, have you see anything around?" Megaman asked.
Cinnamon shook her head. "No..."
Suddenly, a large blast came down from the sky. A tall, pink and red Navi appeared.
"So this is the little Navi?" the Navi asked.
"Who are you?" Roll asked.
"I'm Ferham..." the Navi replied. "I'm here for the little girl!"
"Well you can't have her!" Megaman growled.
"Oh, so you must be Megaman..." Ferham laughed. "I've heard a lot about you."
"You must be another Cyber Pirate!" Gutsman growled.
Ferham nodded. "Then you know I get what I come for!"
"Not today!" Megaman fired his MegaBuster.
Ferham avoided it, and cracked a whip at Megaman. WHAP! Megaman crashed into Axl.
"Don't try me, boy!" Ferham said. "I'm not like those other MORONS you beat..."
"We'll see about that!" Roll cried. "Roll Arrow!"
Roll fired her heart-shaped arrow at Ferham. Ferham used her whip to change the arrow's direction towards Iceman.
"Ice Blizzard!" Iceman froze the arrow.
"Take this!" Ferham reached her hand out. Purple sparks flew out and zapped everyone!
"What the heck??" Axl cried.
"Guts... She's zapping our energy!!" Gutsman cried.
"Barrier, Battle Chip in!" Yai threw a chip into her PET.
A barrier surround Glide, but Ferham's attack blew right through it!
"Oh no!" Maylu cried. "What do we do?"
"Hold on, everyone!" Cinnamon cried.
Cinnamon held her arms out. A warm blue light surrounded everyone. Megaman felt his strength returning.
"What happened?" Megaman asked.
"Is this the power of the Force Metal Chips?" Lan asked.
"So that's the power..." Ferham muttered to herself. "I want it!!"
Ferham charged towards Cinnamon. Megaman blasted her back with his buster, and Axl fired his busters.
"Darn it!" Ferham growled.
"You're not getting her!" Axl growled.
"Not as long as we're here!" Megaman yelled.
Then a blast interrupted them. A tall yellow Navi blasted the group.
"About time you showed up, Jelloman..." Ferham groaned.
"I see you couldn't handle the mission yourself..." Jelloman groaned.
"I was doing fine!" Ferham yelled.
"Another pirate?" Glide asked.
"Not just any!" Jelloman yelled.
Jelloman hurled a huge yellow blast of energy at Megaman and his friends. BOOOM!!!!
"Megaman!!" Lan cried.
Megaman pulled himself up. But Cinnamon was gone!
"Where's Cinnamon?" Roll asked.
"Look!" Iceman cried.
Jelloman had a hold of Cinnamon. He and Ferham were ontop of some sort of ship.
"What is that thing??" Megaman cried.
"We call it the Gesellschaft..." Ferham said.
"Try and get us!" Jelloman teased. "Too bad you little Navis can't fly!"
"Oh dear..." Cinnamon cried.
"Give back Cinnamon!!" Megaman demanded.
"Come and get us if you want her!!" Ferham teased.
"Panel Out!" Jelloman yelled.
The Gesellschaft took off. It disappeared into a hole.
"Where'd it go?" Axl asked.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out!" Megaman cried.
"Let's try to follow it!" Lan cried. "Panel Out, Battle Chip in!"
A hole appeared in front of Megaman.
"Hopefully we can follow it this way!" Lan said.
Megaman & friends jumped into the hole. They appeared in Net City.
"Net City?" Glide asked. "Why would they come here?"
"Look!!" Roll pointed to the sky.
The Gesellschaft was floating above them.
"Let's take them!" Axl cried.
"But how, Guts?" Gutsman asked.
"Let's try to bring the ship down a bit!" Lan snatched up 3 Battle Chips. "Cannon, Hi-Cannon, Mega-Cannon!!!"
"Program Advance!!!" Megaman cried.
2 cannons appeared in place of Megaman's hands. Megaman merged the 2 cannons together into 1 large cannon.
"Beta Cannon!!" Megaman cried, firing the cannon at the ship.
"Axl Bullets!!" Axl fired at the ship.
"Roll Arrow!" Roll fired her arrow.
"Ice Blizzard!" Iceman fired a wind of cold air.
"Super Vulcan, Battle Chip in!!" Yai threw in a chip into her PET.
A gun appeared on Glide's hand. He fired it at the ship.
"Cross Bomb, Battle Chip in, download!" Dex threw a chip into his PET.
A bomb appeared in Gutsman's hand. He threw it at the Gesellschaft.
BOOM!! CRASH!! KA-BOOM!!!! All the attacks hit. The Gesellschaft lowered a bit.
"Yo-yo, Battle Chip in!" Maylu threw in a chip.
Roll fired the yo-yo at the Gesellschaft. TINK! The yo-yo caught onto the ship. Roll used it to pull herself & Iceman up.
"Condor, Battle Chip in!" Lan threw in a chip.
A Condor appeared. Megaman, Glide & Gutsman jumped onto it. They rode it to the ship.
"Cloud, Battle Chip in!" Treble threw in a chip.
A Cloud Virus appeared. Axl grabbed it as it floated up.
All 6 Navis landed on the Gesellschaft.
"Now to find Cinnamon!" Megaman cried.

Chapter Six: Battle Aboard the Gesellschaft!

Inside the ship, other Cyber Pirates were inside.
"There are intruders on the ship..." Botos, a large green Navi said.
"You were followed!" a Navi barked at Ferham & Jelloman.
"Calm down, Scarface..." Jelloman said. "We can have a little fun with them!"
"Then let's roll out the red carpet!" Ferham said.
"Leave them alone!" Cinnamon pleaded. "You have me, don't hurt them!"
Scarface laughed. "We Cyber Pirates enjoy deleting trespassers!"
"Ferham, put her in the Prison Room...." Botos said.

Megaman and the others made their way to the deck of the Gesellschaft.
"So how do we get inside?" Axl asked.
"Let's make an entrance!" Dex cried. "Guts Hammer, Battle Chip in!"
Gutsman's arms became a huge hammer. Gutsman pounded at the ground.
"Zeus Hammer, Battle Chip in!" Yai cried.
A large hammer appeared in Glide's hand. He helped Gutsman bash at the ground.
"Gold Fist, Battle Chip in!" Lan threw in a chip.
Megaman's hand turned into a golden fist, 5 times his hand's normal size.
"Here goes!" Megaman punched the area Glide & Gutsman were hammering.
CRASH!!! The ground broke below them. They fell into the inside of the Gesellschaft.
"Ouch... That hurt..." Roll groaned.
"Well it was the only way in..." Megaman said.
"But where do we go now?" Iceman asked.
"The best way is to go forward..." Axl said.
The group headed straight, until they found 3 doors.
"Which one, Guts?" Gutsman asked.
"To the right?" Glide asked.
"No, let's go this way..." Axl pointed to the far left door.
"Why?" Lan asked.
"Unn... Just a guess..." Treble said.
They hurried through the door. It was filled with tiny rooms with bars.
"Is this a Prison Room?" Roll asked.
"It sure looks that way..." Glide said.
"Megaman!!" Cinnamon cried.
"Cinnamon!!" Megaman cried.
Cinnamon was stuck behind a cell. Large bars that sparked with electricity surrounded her.
"How'd you know this was the Prison Room?" Maylu asked Treble.
"Unn...." Axl gulped.
"Didn't just took a guess...." Treble said.
"You sure?" Roll asked.
"How would he know?" Dex asked.
"Never mind, let's save Cinnamon!" Megaman said.
"Not so fast...." a voice yelled.
A large Navi jumped in front of them. "I am Silver Horn.... Protector of this area.... No one escapes under MY watch!"
"Well there's a first time for everything!" Axl said.
"We're taking Cinnamon!" Megaman yelled.
"I think not!" Silver Horn growled.
Silver Horn stomped his foot. The whole room began to shake. Megaman could barely stand with it shaking.
"Let's see you handle this!" Silver Horn yelled.
Silver Horn stomped his foot again. A large wave of water came crashing down on Megaman & the others.
"Still want to fight me?" Silver Horn laughed.
"Thunder, Battle Chip in, download!" Lan threw in a chip.
Megaman fired a blast of electricity at Silver Horn. Silver Horn shot a blast of water at it. The 2 attacks canceled each other.
"Lan, do you have an Electric Double Soul?" Treble asked.
Lan nodded. "I get where you're going! Thunder Soul, Navi Chip in!"
Megaman's body changed into a form that looked like Thunderman.
"Axl, Copy Shot!" Treble cried.
Axl fired his Copy Shot at Megaman. He transformed into a copy of Megaman in Thunder Soul.
"Okay, FIRE!!!" Lan & Treble cried.
Megaman & Axl launched a huge blast of electricity at Silver Horn. ZAAAAPPP!!!! Silver Horn was blasted with electricity.
"Fan, Battle Chip in!" Yai cried.
A fan appeared. It blew Silver Horn into the electric bars. ZAP!!! Silver Horn was hit by the electric bars.
"Aqua Tower, Battle Chip in!" Maylu cried.
Roll hurled the Aqua Tower at Silver Horn. SMASH!! The tower hit Silver Horn head-on, causing the electric bars to zap him again!!
BOOM!!! Silver Horn was deleted! The blast caused the bars to explode! Cinnamon was free!
"Thank you so much!" Cinnamon cried.
Axl & Megaman returned to normal.
"Nice going!" Axl said.
"Let's get out of here before more of those pirates show up!" Megaman cried.
They hurried out of the Prison Room. They tried to reach the area they blasted the hole up, but they were stopped.
"Where do you think you're going?" a bird-like Navi holding a staff asked.
"Who are you?" Gutsman asked.
"I am Mach Jentra!" the Navi replied.
"Well we don't have time for you!" Megaman yelled.
"Oh really?" Mach Jentra said.
Mach Jentra waved his staff around. Bursts of fire blasted Megaman & the others.
"I can't let you leave with that girl!" Mach Jentra said. "Leave her and you can live!"
"Never!" Megaman yelled.
"Very well..." Mach Jentra blasted Megaman again.
"Noo!!!" Roll cried.
"I'll give you one more chance..." Mach Jentra said. "Leave!!"
"Bubbler, Battle Chip in!" Lan threw in a chip.
Megaman fired a burst of water at Mach Jentra. Mach Jentra dodged it and flew into Megaman. BASH!! Megaman crashed into Gutsman.
"You stand no chance against me!" Mach Jentra declared.
"Maybe with a little help, he can!" Cinnamon cried.
Mach Jentra laughed. "And what are you going to do?"
"Megaman, use this!" Cinnamon opened up a compartment in her chest. She pulled out a small chip data.
"Is this a...." Megaman said.
"A Force Metal Chip..." Cinnamon said. "Please, use it!"
Megaman nodded. "Aqua Shot Force Metal Chip Download!"
A huge aqua gun appeared in Megaman's hand.
Mach Jentra just laughed again. "What's this going to do?"
Megaman fired the gun. It was like an ocean slammed into Mach Jentra! The powerful stream of water kept coming, hitting Mach Jentra!
"Wow!" Lan cried.
"AARRRGGHH!!!" Mach Jentra cried, as he was deleted!
The gun disappeared. Megaman almost collapsed.
"Megaman!" Lan cried.
"He's okay..." Cinnamon explained. "The Force Metal Chips are so powerful because they drain a lot of power from the Navi... You see, they require a lot of power just to use them.... That's why the use of too many can either drive them crazy, or delete them...."
"Megaman, are you ok?" Lan asked.
Megaman pulled himself up. "Yeah, I'm all right..."
"Those Force Metal Chips are really powerful!" Lan cried.
"Yes, but that's why they are so dangerous..." Dr. Hikari said.
"Now let's get off this ship!" Megaman said.

Chapter Seven: Escape From the Gesellschaft!

The group finally made it up to the deck, to find another surprise...
"Going somewhere?" Ferham asked.
"Not you again!" Megaman groaned.
"We can't let you leave!" Botos said.
"We want that Navi!" Scarface said.
"So hand her over!" Jelloman demanded.
"You guys don't learn, do you?" Axl asked.
"We're pirates, we don't LEARN!!" Botos yelled.
"We FIGHT!!!" Jelloman said.
A bunch of bird-like programs appeared.
"Birdbots, destroy them!!" Jelloman cried.
The crazy bird programs attacked Megaman and friends.
"There must be 100 of them!" Yai cried.
"Then let's plow the road!" Treble cried. "Wide Blade, Battle Chip it!"
A sword appeared in place of Axl's arm. Axl slashed a bunch of the Birdbots.
"I get where you're going, Treble!" Lan cried. "Red Wave, Battle Chip in!"
Megaman placed his hand down. A red colored wave of water splashed down on the Birdbot programs.
As each one was hit, they disappeared.
"They're pretty easy to delete!" Dex said. "Gutspunch, Battle Chip in!"
Gutsman's fist grew larger. He punched a group of Birdbots.
"Heart Slash!" Roll threw a batch of hearts at the Birdbots.
"Ice Blizzard!" Iceman threw a burst of cold wind.
"3-Way, Battle Chip in!" Yai cried.
Glide fired a buster at the birds. The shot spread in 2 directions when it hit one.
All the Birdbot programs were deleted!
"Now for you!" Megaman cried.
"Man they beat those fast..." Ferham grumbled.
"Well they won't beat us!" Scarface cried. "Attack!"
Botos fired a ring of energy at Megaman. ZAP!! Megaman was blasted into Glide.
"Take this!" Scarface whacked Iceman & Gutsman with his sword.
"Roll Flash!" Roll whipped around her antennas.
Jelloman caught her antennas. "Have a nice flight!!"
Jelloman threw Roll into Axl. Then 2 sharp blades appeared on his hands. He charged forward and slashed Megaman & the others.
"Megaman!" Lan cried.
"Oh dear!" Cinnamon cried.
"Cinnamon, can you make another Force Metal Chip?" Megaman asked.
"But Megaman, you've used enough already..." Cinnamon said.
"Cinnamon's right, Megaman..." Dr. Hikari said. "It could drain the rest of your energy!"
"Don't Megaman!" Roll cried.
"Just give it to me!" Megaman yelled.
Cinnamon nodded, and created a Force Metal Chip. Megaman reached for it, but Axl quickly snatched it.
"Axl?!?" Megaman cried.
"Can't let you go and delete yourself..." Axl said. "Force Metal Chip download!!!"
An armor-like data surrounded Axl. 2 large cannons were in place of his arms. A targeting scope was over his eyes.
"Treble, you're going to have to help me aim!" Axl cried.
"No problem, Axl!" Treble said. "FIRE!!!"
Treble pressed a button on his PET. Axl fired the cannons.
BOOM!!! KA-BOOM!!!! BLAST!!!
The 4 pirates took the hits! Ferham, Jelloman, Botos & Scarface logged out.
The armor disappeared, and Axl fell over in a heap.
"Axl!!!" Megaman cried.
Cinnamon hurried over to Axl. Her hands glowed with a warm blue light. Axl's power charged up.
"Axl??" Treble asked.
Axl opened his eyes. "Unnnnn......... Those Force Metal Chips REALLY knock ya for a loop..."
Megaman laughed. "At least your ok..."
"Good work, Axl!" Treble said.
"But Axl could have been deleted..." Lan said.
"I trust in Axl." Treble said. "He knew Cinnamon would heal him."
Axl nodded. "Yep. And Megaman's powers were much lower than mine due to the Force Metal Chip he already used."
"Well, now we can get off this thing..." Roll said.
RRRUUUMMMBBBLLLEEEE....
"What was that?" Gutsman asked.
"There's no one flying the ship now remember?" Axl pointed out. "The ship's gonna crash!!"
"Megaman, log out!" Lan cried.
"Right, let's go!" Megaman cried.
"What about Cinnamon?" Roll asked. "She doesn't have a PET!"
"Log out with me, Cinnamon..." Megaman said. "We'll go into Lan's PET."
Cinnamon nodded. "Okay, Megaman..."
Everyone logged out. Cinnamon appeared next to Megaman in Lan's PET.
"Is this a PET?" Cinnamon asked.
"Yes, it is." Lan said. "Now we can get you back into the Sci Lab Computer."
"Dr. Hikari!" Chief Keifer came running in. "Have you heard from Mr. Famous?"
Dr. Hikari shook his head. "No, why?"
"He was going to check out the school..." Lan said. "Is something wrong?"
"We lost communications with him an hour ago..." Chief Keifer explained. "I'm afraid perhaps the Cyber Pirates might have gotten him too!"

And they're saved, phew.

Chapter Eight: Famous Missing!

Lan, Treble, Maylu, Dex, Yai & Tory returned to their school the next day, in hopes of finding out what happened to Mr. Famous.
"First Ms. Mari, now Mr. Famous..." Lan said. "It doesn't make any sense...."
"Maybe Mr. Famous found something..." Treble pointed out. "And they took him to keep him quiet..."
"Then something's around the school?" Maylu asked.
"Or they just happen to be in the school..." Yai said.
"It's getting so that no where in safe..." Dex groaned.
"We have to search for clues." Tory said. "Anything that can lead to where Mr. Famous is."
"What are you kids doing?" a man with gray hair asked.
"Yikes!" Lan jumped. "Who are you?"
"I'm Teisel, one of the substitutes..." the man said.
Lan now knew where he saw him before. Lan saw Teisel in 2-A, the day Ms. Mari disappeared...
"Umm... Nothing sir..." Maylu said.
"School's out today, why are you here?" Teisel asked.
"Just studying." Yai said.
"Very well, but the building closing early, so you can't stay here all day." Teisel said.
Ms. Tron walked in. "Teisel, there you are! I............. Lan, what are you doing here?"
"Oh, Ms. Tron!" Lan cried. "Unn..."
"It's nothing, umm... Tron? Don't we have a STAFF MEETING today?" Teisel said.
Tron looked confused at first. "Staff Meeting?? ..... ..... .... Oh yeah! Right! Later kids!"
Tron & Teisel left the room.
"There's something about those 2..." Maylu said.
"What, they're teachers...." Treble said.
"No, it's not that..." Maylu said. "I'm not sure what it is...."
"Whatever, Maylu..." Treble grumbled. Then he tripped.
"Ouch! Who the heck left this here?" Treble screamed. "A PET?"
Lan snatched it. "This is Mr. Famous' PET!!"
"He must have dropped it." Dex said.
"Drop his PET?" Yai asked. "I don't think so..."
"More like it fell off." Treble said.
"Maybe Mr. Famous was looking around here?" Tory asked.
Lan looked down the hall. He saw a few rooms, but most of them were locked.
"What about that room?" Treble asked.
"That's just the Janitor's Closet..." Yai said.
"Let's look inside..." Treble said.
"Why?" Lan asked.
"Just to look." Treble said.
Treble opened the door. There was only a few brooms, brushes, and mops.
"Darn..." Treble grumbled.
"Something wrong, Treble?" Lan asked.
Treble jumped. "Nothing, just thought I would find a clue..."
"You some kinda detective or something?" Dex joked.
"Whatever..." Treble grumbled.
"Lan!" Megaman cried.
"What is it?" Lan asked.
"Chief Keifer's calling!" Megaman cried.
Lan pressed a button on his PET. The screen showed Chief Keifer.
"What's wrong?" Lan asked.
"Lan.... You better have a look outside..." Chief Keifer said.
Lan and the others stepped outside.
"And we're looking for what?" Lan asked.
"I think that...." Treble pointed up.
There was a huge ship, much, much larger than the Gesellschaft, flying in the sky.
"How is that possible??" Lan cried.
"Lan, look!" Maylu pointed to the sky.
The sky looked funny, rainbow colored.
"It's a Dimensional Area!!" Lan cried. "That ship is data!!"
"It looks like the Cyber Pirates have more than 1 ship..." Megaman said.
"Lan, you have to get on that ship!" Chief Keifer said. "The Cyber Pirates must be stopped!"
Lan nodded. "You with me, Maylu?"
"Rush!" Maylu called out.
Rush popped up. "Ruff!"
"Turn into the Rush Synchro Chip!" Maylu commanded.
Rush nodded, and changed into the chip.
"Good luck, you guys..." Dex said.
"Yeah, wish we could Cross Fuse..." Yai said.
"We'll be back, guys!" Lan said.
"Let's go, Lan!" Maylu said.
"Synchro Chip In, Download!!!" Lan & Maylu cried. "Cross Fusion!!"
Lan & Maylu Cross Fused.
"Condor, Battle Chip in!" Lan cried.
A Condor appeared. Lan & Maylu rode it up to the ship.
"Good luck, guys!" Yai cried.
"Man, I feel so helpless here..." Dex groaned.
"Hey guys, where's Treble?" Tory asked.
Yai & Dex spun around. Treble was gone!
"Now where the heck did he go?" Yai asked.

Chapter Nine: Cyber Pirate's New Ship

Lan & Maylu landed on top of the ship.
"Lan, be careful!" Megaman warned. "This could be a trap!"
Lan nodded. "But I don't see anything...."
"Ahhhh, I see you arrived...." a dark voice loomed.
Lan & Maylu spun around. A tall, man dressed in dark clothes appeared.
"Who are you??" Lan asked.
"I'm called Mr. X..." the man answered. "You must be Lan, the Operator of that pesky Megaman!"
"Mr. X?" Lan repeated. "Are you with Nebula or WWW?"
Mr. X laughed. "Those bunch of losers? The Cyber Pirates work for whoever pays well! And I'm their employer..."
"So you're the one that's responsible for all this?" Maylu asked.
"Of course." Mr. X chuckled. "I've heard all about the great Megaman in Den Tech City... Plus I want that special Navi Dr. Hikari created... With Force Metal Chips, I can control the world!!"
"He's mad!!" Roll cried.
"Lan, you've got to stop him!" Megaman cried.
"Shadow, Botos, Incentas, come here!" Mr. X shouted.
3 Navis appeared. "Yes sir!"
"Great... More pirates..." Lan growled.
"So our guests the way off..." Mr. X said.
"As you wish..." Incentas said.
"I'd jump off if I were you kids..." Shadow joked.
"Because we're gonna THROW you off!!" Botos said.
Mr. X stepped back.
"3 against 2? These guys just don't fight fair!!" Lan cried.
"We're pirates, we don't follow the rules!" Botos said.
"Now prepare to die!!" Shadow cried.
Incentas started with a fire ball attack. Lan shoved Maylu out of the way, they barely missed it.
"Aqua Tower!" Maylu cried, placing her hand on the ground.
A tower of water started heading towards Incentas. Suddenly, Incentas lit up. His body changed color to blue. He absorbed the Aqua Tower.
"He stopped my Aqua Tower!!" Maylu cried.
"How did he do that??" Lan asked.
"Incentas has the ability to change his element type!" Mr. X explained.
"Elec Sword, Battle Chip in!" Lan cried.
An electric filled sword appeared on Lan's arm. Lan dashed towards Incentas. Incentas just changed his type again, and fired an electric blast at Lan.
ZAP!! Lan was sent flying into Maylu.
"Hee hee hee!! This is great!!" Botos cried.
"My turn!" Shadow charged in with his sword.
"Lan, he's coming!" Megaman warned.
"Met Guard, Battle Chip in!" Lan cried.
A Metool Hat appeared over Lan & Maylu. It protected them from Shadow's attack.
"You can't hide forever!" Shadow cried, whacking the hat.
CRACK!! The hat broke apart, but Lan & Maylu were waiting for him.
"Roll Arrow!" Maylu cried, firing a heart shaped arrow.
"MegaBuster!" Lan fired his buster.
SMASH! BLAST!!! Shadow was blown into Incentas.
"You'll pay for that!" Botos cried.
Botos fired a yellow beam at Lan & Maylu. ZAAAAPPP!!! Lan & Maylu crashed into the ship's floor.
"Let's get them together!" Incentas cried.
Incentas fired a combined attack of fire, water, and electric.
BOOOOMMM!!!! Lan & Maylu couldn't take much more.
Another Navi stepped up to Mr. X.
"Ahh, Dr. Psyche, is our experiment ready?" Mr. X asked.
Dr. Psyche shook his head. "I'm afraid the little amount of Cinnamon's data that was received won't be enough.... We need more to make just the first project alone...."
"Very well..." Mr. X said. "We'll have to reacquire Cinnamon then...."
"How do you plan on doing that sir?" Dr. Psyche asked.
"I have another Cyber Pirate working on that mission..." Mr. X said.
"These Cyber Pirates do have their uses, don't they?" Dr. Psyche chuckled.
"Yes, they do." Mr. X said. "They think they'll get such a great reward for working for me... They'll do anything for the right price...."
"That's what makes them so gullible, correct sir?" Dr. Psyche asked.
"Yes, they have no idea what's coming to them!" Mr. X laughed.
KA-BOOM!!! Lan & Maylu were tossed and thrown all around the ship.
"Lan, my Cross Fusion is failing...." Maylu said, weakly.
"Lan, if you take another hit, we'll lose Cross Fusion as well..." Megaman warned.
"Let's finish them!" Shadow said.
"Bye, bye kiddies!!" Incentas cried.
"So long!" Botos cried.
The 3 Navis charged up their attacks.
"Lan, I can't move!" Maylu cried.
"Me neither!" Lan cried. "We're done for!!!"
The attacks were heading their way, there was no escape. Lan & Maylu braced for impact.

But, it didn't come. Lan heard an explosion instead.
BOOOM!!!!!
Lan opened his eyes. A tall, person Cross Fused with a red Navi stood in front of Lan, holding a shield.
"Chaud!!!!" Lan cried.
Chaud turned around. "Are you ok?"
Lan nodded. "But I thought you were in Sharo?"
"I was." Chaud said. "Raika & I followed the Cyber Pirates here."
"Your mission involved the Cyber Pirates?" Maylu asked.
"They stole some important data from Sharo." Chaud explained. "They're trying to create a Super Navi for Mr. X..."
"A Super Navi?" Megaman asked.
"So that's why they want Cinnamon!" Lan cried.
"Oh great, it's that crazy Official!!" Shadow groaned.
"Let's teach him a lesson for what he did to Loath!" Incentas cried.
"Oh really?" Chaud asked.
Suddenly, a blast hit Botos. BOOM!!! Botos was deleted.
"Raika!!" Lan cried.
Raika jumped out from on top of the ship's sail. He pointed his gun at Shadow and Incentas.
"You Cyber Pirates thought you trick us, huh?" Raika asked.
"Darn it!" Shadow groaned.
"Take this!" Incentas fired another attack.
"Step Cross, Battle Chip in!" Chaud cried.
Chaud dashed forward and slashed Incentas multiple times.
SLICE!!!! Incentas was deleted!
"You're next." Raika said.
"What do we do, Mr. X?" Shadow asked.
"One must know defeat..." Mr. X said. "Very good, officials... Following me this far..."
"You're not getting away this time..." Chaud said.
"Oh really? Let's see if you can fly..." Mr. X said.
Mr. X pressed a button. The Dimensional Area began to disappear.
"Oh no!" Lan cried. "Chaud, we got to get back to the ground!!"
"Darn it!" Chaud growled. "You won't get away next time!"
"Yes I will..." Mr. X joked. He jumped off the ship, using a jet-pack.
"Let's go!" Lan cried.
Lan, Chaud, Raika & Maylu jumped off the ship before it started disappearing.
"Metagel, Battle Chip in!" Lan & Chaud cried.
A Metagel virus appeared. Lan, Chaud, Maylu & Raika landed softly on it, and bounced off. The Dimensional Area fully disappeared, the Metagel did with it.
Lan, Maylu, Raika, & Chaud's Cross Fusions broke up.
Yai, Dex, & Tory ran up to them.
"Chaud??" Yai cried. "What are you doing here?"
"Where's Treble?" Lan asked.
"He disappeared..." Dex said.
"That's strange..." Maylu said.
"Lan, we better hurry to Sci Lab." Raika said.
"The Cyber Pirates are likely going to strike there." Chaud said. "That's why we hurried back here."
"Right, guys I'll see you later." Lan said.
"I'm coming with!" Maylu growled. "I can Cross Fuse, so I can still help!"
"Ok, ok..." Lan sighed. "Then come on!"

Chapter Ten: Cinnamon Soul!

Lan, Maylu, Chaud & Raika hurried to Sci Lab.
"Dad, has anything gone on while we were gone?" Lan asked.
"Lan! Chaud! You're just in time!" Dr. Hikari cried. "The Cyber Pirates are in the Sci Lab HP."
"Then the ship earlier...." Maylu said.
"Was a distraction..." Raika pointed out.
"Lan, we can't let them get ahold of the Force Metal Chip Generator!" Chaud said.
"Right, Jack In, Megaman!" Lan jacked Megaman in.
"Jack In, Roll!" Maylu jacked Roll in.
"Jack In, Protoman!" Chaud jacked Protoman in.
"Jack In, Searchman!" Raika jacked Searchman in.
"Power Up!!!" Lan, Maylu, Chaud, & Raika cried.
Megaman, Roll, Protoman & Searchman appeared in Sci Lab's Home Page.
"HELP!!!" a cry let out.
"Cinnamon!" Megaman cried.
Megaman ran to the source of the cry. He saw 2 Navis trying to attack Cinnamon.
"Who are you??" Roll asked.
"I'm Ballade..." one Navi replied.
"And I'm called Enker." the other said.
"Megaman!" Cinnamon cried.
"You're not getting Cinnamon!" Megaman declared.
"Oh really?" Enker asked. "Who's going to stop us? You?"
"You don't know who you're dealing with, do you?" Protoman asked.
"And you 4 don't know who we are, otherwise you'd jack out..." Ballade said.
"We're not going anywhere!" Searchman said.
"Have it your way." Enker said. "Meteor!!"
A rainstorm of meteors came crashing down at Megaman and his friends.
Protoman whipped out his shield. "Get behind me!"
The meteors hammered Protoman's shield, but they could get past it.
"Protoman's Shield won't last for long..." Lan said.
"Just hold off the attacks." Raika said. "Searchman!"
"Roger!" Searchman said. "Scope Gun!"
Searchman used his targeting sensor to track Enker from behind Protoman. Searchman fired his gun. BOOM!!! Enker was hit!! The meteors stopped falling.
"Way to go, Searchman!" Megaman cried.
"Heart Slash!" Roll hurled her Heart Slash at Ballade.
"Ballade Cracker!!" Ballade cried, hurling a ton of little bombs at Roll.
BOOM!! The bombs blew up Roll's Heart Slash, and attacked the group as well!
"Give 'em another burst, Ballade..." Enker said.
"Ballade Cracker!!!" Ballade hurled more bombs at Megaman and the others.
"MegaBuster!!" Megaman fired his buster.
"Lance Absorb!!" Enker jumped in front of the blast, and held out his lance.
The lance absorbed Megaman's attack!!!
"How did he??" Lan cried.
Enker swung the lance around, and hurled Megaman's own attack back at him!!
BAM!! Megaman crashed into Roll. BOOM!! BOOM!!! BOOM!!! Ballade's Cracker Bombs landed on them!!
"Megaman!!" Lan cried.
"Roll!!" Maylu cried.
"Step Sword, Battle Chip in!" Chaud cried, throwing a chip into his PET.
Protoman jumped forward, and sliced Ballade.
"Is that all you've got?" Ballade asked.
Ballade shoved a bunch of Ballade Cracker Bombs right into Protoman!!! KA-BOOM!!!! Protoman was blasted back to Megaman and Roll.
"They're down..." Enker joked.
"This is fun!" Ballade cried.
"Game's over!" Searchman cried.
Searchman fired his Scope Gun at Enker.
"This time I'm ready for you!" Enker cried.
Enker held up his lance. Once again, it absorbed the attack.
"No way!" Lan cried.
"Impossible!!" Raika cried.
"Yes way!!" Enker hurled the attack back at Searchman.
KA-BLEWIE!!! Searchman was thrown on top of Protoman.
"Oh no!!" Cinnamon cried.
"These are the great Net Saviors?" Enker asked.
"They're too weak..." Ballade said.
"Megaman, get up!!" Lan cried.
"Megaman!!" Cinnamon cried.
"You're coming with us, cutie!" Enker said.
The Navi symbol on Cinnamon lit up. "Megaman, take this!!" Cinnamon hurled the light at Megaman.
Megaman's body lit up. He changed into a form that look a lot like Cinnamon.
"Whoa.... Double Soul: Cinnamon Soul!!" Lan cried.
"She gave him a Double Soul?" Chaud asked.
"She must have used the power of the Force Metal Chips..." Dr. Hikari said.
"Force Metal Chip: Ultra Vulcan!!" Megaman cried.
Megaman held out his hand. A chip appeared. Megaman snatched it, and used it.
Megaman's hand turned into a gun. He fired a few rounds of shots at Enker.
BAM! BAM!! BOOM!!! Enker's lance was destroyed!
"Force Metal Chip: Recover 500!" Megaman created another chip.
Megaman threw it into Roll, Protoman, & Searchman. The 3 Navis recovered!
"Let's get outta here with the Force Metal Chip Generator while we can..." Enker said.
"Not so fast...." a voice loomed.
"Who?" Searchman asked.
"Axl!!" Megaman cried.
"AXL??" Protoman repeated.
Axl was standing right behind Enker and Ballade. He was pointing one gun at each of them.
"Why you no good..." Enker growled.
"How could you?" Ballade asked.
"If you 2 morons know what's good for you, you'll leave!!" Axl said.
"Axl, make sure they can't get Cinnamon!" Treble's voice could be heard in the Cyber World.
"Right." Axl grabbed Cinnamon's hand and pulled her away.
"You'll regret doing this..." Enker said.
"I doubt it..." Axl said.
Enker and Ballade logged out.
"What was that all about?" Lan asked.
"Protoman, don't let that Navi get away!!" Chaud cried.
"What are you talking about?" Maylu asked.
"Yeah, Enker and Ballade left already..." Lan said.
"Not those 2..." Raika said.
Protoman held up his sword at Axl. Searchman pointed his gun at Axl.
"Axl..." Chaud said. "Don't let him escape!!"

Oh no, is Treble with the enemies?

Chapter Eleven: Axl & Treble's Secret

"Chaud, what has gotten into you??" Lan asked.
"Treble & Axl helped us!" Maylu cried. "This is some way to thank them!"
"Thank them??" Chaud asked. "He's one of them!!!!"
"WHAT?!?!?" Lan, Maylu, Megaman & Roll cried.
"Are you sure?" Dr. Hikari asked.
"He's the one that we were chasing down in Sharo." Raika explained. "Why do you think he's got a Chameleon Ability?"
"So he can sneak into areas and steal data!" Chaud explained. "Treble is one of the Cyber Pirates! Track his location!!!"
"Axl...." Megaman said.
"I guess the jig is up, Treble..." Axl groaned.
"We knew the risk, coming here after all..." Treble said.
"So that's why you disappeared before..." Maylu said.
"Axl, were you really one of them all this time?" Megaman asked. "Then... Why did you help us?"
"The Cyber Pirates are my foster parents..." Treble explained. "I've been raised by them all my life..."
"But recently..." Axl said. "We've noticed that what they taught us all this time was wrong... Treble wanted to make up for what they used us for by helping you, Megaman..."
"My mission was to find you, Lan..." Treble explained. "And defeat you. That's why I came to your school..."
"He's just trying to trick you, Lan!" Chaud said.
"This kid out-smarted many other Officials before." Raika said.
"And this time you're not escaping!" Protoman said.
"I see you're still the gun-ho type...." Axl growled. "Delete first, ask questions later!"
"And listen to another lie?" Searchman asked.
"And you... Just follow orders to the T." Axl said. "Never THINK things through...."
"Just like we did when we first went on our missions from the Cyber Pirates..." Treble said. "We didn't know any better..."
"Chaud, maybe they're telling the truth..." Maylu said.
"That does explain how you knew your way around the Cyber Pirate Ship..." Roll said.
"Chaud, Raika...." Lan said. "I know you've been chasing him, but can't we give him a chance?"
"Have you got his location?" Raika asked.
"Not yet..." Searchman said. "He's blocking it..."
"Where's your Operator??" Protoman asked.
"So you can lock Treble away for the rest of his life?" Axl asked. "No way... You'll have to delete me first..."
"Axl..." Treble said. "You know what to do..."
"Protoman, please!" Megaman pleaded.
"Shut up, Megaman!" Protoman snapped. "He's a Cyber Pirate, and he'll just try to get away to attack again!"
Protoman was too busy yelling at Megaman to notice Axl.
"Well... Since you won't believe me..." Axl said.
Axl still had a hold on Cinnamon's hand. He whirled Cinnamon in front of him.
"Copy Shot!" Axl transformed into Cinnamon.
"DRAT!!!" Raika yelled. "He's using the same trick he did to get away last time!!!"
"Can you tell them apart?" Roll asked.
Megaman shook his head.
"Protoman!" Chaud cried.
"Yes sir!" Protoman charged forward.
"So long, Proto!!" Axl cried, shoving Cinnamon into Protoman.
Treble jacked Axl out.
"DARN IT!!!!!!!!!" Chaud screamed.
"He got away...." Raika growled.
Protoman grabbed Megaman.
"He wouldn't have gotten away if you hadn't distracted me!!!" Protoman yelled.
"Well sorry..." Megaman groaned. "But I still think you're wrong about them..."
"Guys, quit it..." Roll said.
"Well it IS Megaman's fault!" Searchman yelled.
No one was standing with Cinnamon now. They were all busy fighting.
"Oh dear..." Cinnamon sighed.
Suddenly, a black Navi jumped out and grabbed Cinnamon.
"Huh?? HELP!!!!" Cinnamon screamed.
Megaman spun around. "Oh no!!!"
The Navi jumped into a dark hole with Cinnamon.
"Cinnamon!!" Megaman cried.
"Great, see?" Protoman said. "Axl gave them the distraction they needed to get Cinnamon!"
"Shouldn't we try to save her??" Roll asked. "Instead of standing here fighting?"
"Right...." Protoman and Searchman said.
The group searched around Net City.
"Nothing..." Megaman groaned. "Maybe Protoman is right... This is my fault..."
"No, Megaman." Lan protested. "I still say they're wrong about Axl & Treble..."
"Me too." Maylu said.
"Did you guys find anything?" Roll asked.
Gutsman, Iceman & Glide had joined them in the search.
"Guts, Guts... Nothing..." Gutsman groaned.
"I haven't see any sign of Cinnamon..." Iceman said.
"I'm afraid there's no sign of Cinnamon." Glide said.
"It's hard to believe what you told us, Lan." Dex said.
"Yeah, about Treble and all..." Yai said.
"Do you think he was using us?" Tory asked.
Protoman came up to the group.
"Megaman, there's another Cyber Pirate Ship in Net City..." Protoman said.
"Another one?" Megaman asked.
"Where's Searchman?" Roll asked.
"He's there now checking it out." Protoman explained. "Hurry, it's in ACDC 3."
"Okay, let's hurry!" Megaman said.
"Careful, this one is a lot stronger than the last one." Protoman said. "And remember, the jewel is the most valued treasure...."
"What does that mean?" Roll asked.
Megaman spun around. Protoman left.
"How'd he disappear so fast?" Lan asked.
"Where is Chaud, anyway?" Yai asked.
"He and Raika went to my Dad's Lab to check out the research on Cinnamon." Lan explained. "They think they might be able to re-create the Force Metal Chips using Megaman's Double Soul."
"Because Cinnamon gave Megaman a Double Soul before she was kidnapped?" Maylu asked.
Lan nodded. "Right. I guess he just sent Protoman down here to tell us."
"Then let's hurry to ACDC then." Megaman said.

Megaman and the others arrived at ACDC 3. Sure enough, a new Cyber Pirate Ship was sailing above.
"These guys never learn..." Roll groaned. "No matter how many times we blow up their ship, they make another!"
Chaud and Raika came down to Lan with Dr. Hikari.
"What's going on?" Chaud asked.
"We found the Cyber Pirate Ship you had Protoman tell us about." Lan said.
"What??" Chaud asked.
"Lan, Chaud's been with me the whole time." Dr. Hikari said. "He didn't jack Protoman in."
"Then...... Who was that?" Maylu asked.
"AXL!!!" Chaud growled. "It's that shape shifting Navi's tricks again!"
"That's right, Axl can change into any Navi..." Lan said.
"I wouldn't trust this then..." Raika said. "It could be a trap..."
"Even if it is, we can't stand here until they attack again!" Lan said. "I say we go check it out."
"Very well." Chaud said. "But Protoman's going with you."
"Searchman too." Raika said.

Oh so that's the truth...

Chapter Twelve: The Cyber Kracken

Megaman, Roll, Gutsman, Glide, Iceman, Protoman & Searchman got themselves onto the ship.
"Whoa, this one is pretty big, Guts!" Gutsman said.
"Be on guard." Protoman said.
Megaman nodded.
The group searched around the deck of the ship.
"Where's the entrance?" Glide asked.
"Well, well, well... If it isn't a bunch of stowaways!" a voice loomed.
Megaman and the others spun around. It was Dr. Psyche!
"Where's Cinnamon?" Megaman asked.
Dr. Psyche laughed. "She's not here, did you really think we'd be stupid enough to have her in such an easy place to find?"
"We found her last time on the other ship..." Iceman said.
"Cinnamon's in a safe place, we're finishing our research on her!" Dr. Psyche said.
"Well you're letting her go NOW!!!" Megaman yelled.
Megaman fired his buster. A strange barrier protected Dr. Psyche.
"That little buster can't hurt me!" Dr. Psyche said.
"He has some kind of Aura!" Searchman cried.
"Perhaps you'd like to see our creation from the Force Metal Chips!" Dr. Psyche cried.
A huge, monstrous giant squid with razor sharp tentacles appeared.
"Un-oh...." Megaman groaned.
"What the heck is that thing, Guts?" Gutsman asked.
"We call it the Cyber Kracken." Dr. Psyche explained. "It only obeys my master, Mr. X."
"So you're Mr. X's Navi!!" Megaman cried.
"Correct." Dr. Psyche said. "We've made the Cyber Pirates do all the dirty work, collecting the data we needed for our experiments!"
"So Mr. X is using them!" Lan cried. "That's what Treble meant!"
"Yes, that little melding Axl...." Dr. Psyche growled. "He almost alerted the other Cyber Pirates of our plans, but I made short work of him...."
"So that's why Treble came to help us!" Megaman cried.
"I still say it's a trick..." Chaud said. "Why else does he keep running?"
Lan didn't know what to say. Sure, he wanted to believe Treble was good, but Treble was a Cyber Pirate, he could be just trying to use Lan and the others.
"Megaman, you have to defeat that thing!!" Lan cried.
"Right!" Megaman fired his buster.
The blasts bounced off.
"Step Sword, Battle Chip in!" Chaud threw a chip into his PET.
Protoman jumped forward and tried to slash the Cyber Kracken. The Cyber Kracken hurled its tentacle at Protoman.
WHACK!!! Protoman was sent flying into Megaman!
"Heart Slash!!" Roll cried, hurling her attack.
"Cyber Blizzard!!" Iceman cried, hurling a blizzard.
"M-Cannon, Battle Chip in, download!" Yai cried, throwing in a chip.
Glide fired the M-Cannon. BOOM!! BASH!!! SLASH!!!
The Cyber Kracken took in all the hits, but seemed unaffected!!
"Gut Punch, Battle Chip in!" Dex cried, throwing in a chip.
Gutsman's hand grew large. Gutsman hurled his fist at the Cyber Kracken. The Cyber Kracken wrapped a tentacle around Gutsman's arm, and threw him into Iceman & Glide.
"Lock On, Battle Chip in!" Raika threw in a chip into his PET.
A small device appeared over Searchman. It fired at the Cyber Kracken. Once again, the Cyber Kracken was unaffected.
"Okay, let's try a Program Advance!" Lan cried, gathering 3 Spreader Chips.
"Hyper Burst!!" Megaman cried, firing the Program Advance at the Cyber Kracken.
BOOM!!!! A burst of smoke covered the area. Megaman held his breath.
"It's still there..." Searchman said. "Scope Gun!!"
Searchman fired his gun through the smoke.
"Did it hit?" Lan asked.
Suddenly, a huge blast of energy came out and slammed into Megaman and the others.
The Cyber Kracken inhaled the smoke. It looked like it was ready for more.
"How do we beat this monster?" Maylu asked.
"Lan, didn't Dr. Psyche say that thing was made from Force Metal Chips?" Chaud asked.
"Yeah, but we don't have any..." Lan said.
"Yes we do!" Dr. Hikari cried. "Lan, the Cinnamon Soul!!"
"That's right!" Lan cried. "Cinnamon Soul, Navi Chip in!!"
Lan threw in the chip. Megaman changed into the Cinnamon Soul.
"Now how does that work again?" Megaman asked.
"Megaman, it's coming!!" Roll cried.
"Hurry up!" Protoman yelled.
"Unnn.... Thunder!!" Megaman yelled.
Nothing happened.
"Bubbler!" Megaman cried. "Heat Shot?"
"How does this Double Soul work, anyway?" Lan asked.
"Lan, Megaman has to create the chips!" Dr. Hikari explained. "Much like Cinnamon does."
"How does he do that?" Dex asked.
"It's not like we can ask Cinnamon..." Yai said.
"Wait... Force Metal Chip Create!!" Megaman yelled.
"It's not working!" Lan cried. "What did you do before??"
"Wait, didn't he say Force Metal Chip, and then the name of a chip?" Maylu asked.
"That's it!" Lan cried.
"Force Metal Chip: Zapper Ring!" Megaman cried.
Nothing happened.
"What??" Lan cried. "I thought that was it!!"
"We're dead..." Iceman groaned.
The Cyber Kracken hurled another attack at the group.
"THINK!!!" Protoman yelled. "What else did you do??"
"Megaman, place your hands together!" Dr. Hikari said.
"What good will that do?" Megaman asked.
"JUST DO IT!!!!!" Protoman & Searchman yelled.
Megaman placed his hands together.
"Force Metal Chip: Thunder Blast!" Megaman cried.
A bright light surrounded Megaman's hands. A small chip appeared.
"There!" Roll cried. "You did it!!"
"I'll use it!" Gutsman cried, snatching the chip.
"Gutsman, no!!" Megaman cried.
Gutsman used the chip. The small thunder attack hit the Cyber Kracken, but again the Cyber Kracken seemed unaffected.
"Guts.... I feel tired....." Gutsman fell over.
"Gutsman!" Dex cried. "Jack Out!!"
Dex jacked Gutsman out.
"What happened to him?" Yai asked.
"Force Metal Chips have side effects..." Dr. Hikari explained. "They zap out all of a Navi's energy."
"You'll never master the Force Metal Chips..." Dr. Psyche laughed. "Just look at what you made. Now if that were a true Force Metal Chip, it would have been powerful!"
Megaman growled. "I'll show you!"
"Well, I can't stand around forever." Dr. Psyche said. "I'll leave you to play with the Cyber Kracken."
Dr. Psyche disappeared. The Cyber Kracken was ready to attack again.
"Force Metal Chip: Electric Sword!" Megaman cried, creating another chip.
The electric-filled sword appeared on Megaman's hand. Megaman jumped forward to try to attack the Cyber Kracken, but the Cyber Kracken whacked Megaman with one of its tentacles.
"Drat!" Megaman growled. "I can't get close even!"
"And none of our attacks seem to do any damage!" Roll cried.
Iceman slipped. There was cyberwater all over the deck of the ship from the Cyber Kracken.
"What the??" Iceman said.
Suddenly, the Cyber Kracken disappeared!
"Where'd it go?" Megaman asked.
It appeared behind Roll. It snatched Roll with one of its tentacles.
"Megaman!! HELP!!!" Roll screamed.
"It got Roll!" Megaman cried.
"I'll cut her loose!" Protoman said, jumping up with his sword.
Protoman tried to slash the tentacle, but his sword broke!!!
"What the?!?" Chaud cried.
"The sword broke?!?" Protoman cried.
Protoman got close enough that he saw a big, glowing orb embedded in the Cyber Kracken's forehead.
"What's that thing?" Protoman asked.
The Cyber Kracken fired a beam of energy from the orb at Protoman. WHAM!! Protoman slammed into Searchman.
The Cyber Kracken hurled Roll around. It was using Roll as a shield.
"I can't get a clear shot in." Searchman said.
"And we can't save Roll from here." Glide said.
"What do we do, Lan?" Megaman asked.
Suddenly, the Cyber Kracken's orb glowed. Pours of small rainbow energy surrounded it.
"Something tells me that's not good..." Iceman said.
"What is it doing?" Megaman asked.
"I'm guessing it's charging its attack..." Protoman said.
"Get out of there!" Raika yelled.
"It's too late!" Searchman replied.
He was right. The Cyber Kracken fired a huge beam of energy from its orb. The blast was heading their way. Megaman braced for impact.

Chapter Thirteen: Axl to the Rescue

"Barrier, Barrier 100, Barrier 200, Battle Chips in!" a voice could be heard in the Cyber World. "Program Advance!"
"What the?" Megaman looked up.
A large barrier protected Megaman, Protoman, Searchman, Glide & Iceman.
"Where'd the Barrier Program Advance come from?" Megaman asked.
A black Navi jumped in front of Megaman.
"Axl?!" Megaman cried.
"I told you I'm on your side!" Axl said. "Why do you think I changed into Protoman and told you where the ship was? The Cyber Kracken isn't complete! It has a weakness!"
"Where?" Megaman asked.
"Like we can trust him?" Protoman growled.
"Yes, if you want to live!" Axl snapped.
"So where is it?" Megaman asked.
"See that orb?" Axl pointed to the shinny orb on the Cyber Kracken. "That's its weakness. You have to throw all your power at that spot!"
"How do we do that?" Glide asked.
"Searchman, can't you use your Scope Gun and target the orb?" Dr. Hikari asked.
"It's possible." Raika said.
"Then I'll use the Force Metal Chips to finish it off!" Megaman said.
"What about Roll?" Maylu asked.
"I'll get her." Axl said.
"Leave it to me & Axl, Maylu!" Treble's voice could be heard. "Axl, transform into Dr. Psyche!"
Axl's body lit up. He changed into the form of Dr. Psyche.
"Lan, once Axl distracts the Cyber Kracken, you guys hit it with everything you've got!" Treble cried.
"Got ya!" Lan nodded.
The Cyber Kracken halted its attacks. It starred at Axl.
"Let the pink Navi go." Axl commanded.
The Cyber Kracken didn't respond.
"Why isn't it working?" Lan asked.
"Didn't Dr. Psyche say that it only listens to Mr. X?" Chaud asked.
"Un-oh....." Lan gulped.
The Cyber Kracken's orb glowed, and fired a blast at Axl. BOOM!!! Axl changed back.
"Well that bright idea didn't work!" Axl grumbled.
"Plan B?" Treble asked.
"Right." Axl said.
Axl transformed into Ferham.
"What good will that do?" Lan asked.
"This!!" Axl cried, hurling a whip around Roll.
"Look out!" Roll cried.
The Cyber Kracken tried to attack Axl with one of its tentacles.
"Force Metal Chip: Ultra Vulcan!" Megaman cried, creating a Force Metal Chip.
Megaman fired the chip at the tentacle. It kept it back enough that it didn't hit Axl.
"Thanks!" Axl cried.
Axl pulled with all his might to try to free Roll, but the Cyber Kracken had a tight grip on her.
"Megaman, give me one of those Force Metal Chips!" Axl cried.
"But Axl..." Megaman tried to warn Axl.
"JUST DO IT!!!" Axl yelled.
"Force Metal Chip: Slasher Sword!" Megaman created a chip and threw it to Axl.
Axl changed back to his normal form and used the chip. He jumped onto the tentacle holding Roll and used the Slasher.
SLASH! SLICE!! The tentacle was cut off! Axl grabbed Roll and jumped down to the ground.
"Now, Searchman!" Raika cried.
Searchman fired his Scope Gun at the Cyber Kracken's orb.
KA-BOOM!!!! The Cyber Kracken took a direct hit, and this time it affected it!!
"I'm free?" Roll asked.
"Y-yeah... Unnn...." Axl collapsed.
"AXL!!!" Roll cried.
"Oh no!" Lan cried. "The Force Metal Chip took too much of his energy!!!"
"Considering that's the 2nd chip he's used...." Yai pointed out.
"Lan, there's no time to be worried about Axl!" Treble yelled. "Destroy that thing!!"
Lan nodded. "Do it, Megaman!"
"Force Metal Chips: Super Cannon, Hyper Cannon, Ultra Cannon!!" Megaman held out his arms.
Sparking white flashes of light surrounded his hands. 3 chips appeared.
"Program Advance: Omega Cannon!!!" Megaman cried.
Megaman's arms became 1 huge cannon. But Megaman could barely stand.
"He's been using too many Force Metal Chips!" Dr. Hikari cried. "Even with the Cinnamon Soul, they're still taking a lot of energy because he used so many! Lan, it could delete him!!"
"Megaman!!" Lan cried.
Roll & Protoman grabbed Megaman.
"You can do it, Mega!" Roll cried.
"Come on, we'll help you aim!" Protoman said.
"Roll.... Protoman..." Megaman said. "Right! FIRE!!!!!!"
Megaman fired the Force Metal Program Advance. BOOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!!!!!!! The blast almost caused the whole ship to explode!!
The Cyber Kracken's orb broke into pieces, the Cyber Kracken blew up. KA-BAM!!!!
There was a huge hole in the ship where the Cyber Kracken stood. It was deleted!
Megaman's Double Soul broke apart. Megaman passed out. Roll & Protoman were still holding him. Roll tried to heal Megaman.
"Is he?" Lan gulped.
"He's okay, Roll kept him from being deleted..." Protoman said.
"Where's Axl?" Searchman asked.
Protoman looked around. Axl was gone again.
"That sneaky little Cyber Pirate..." Protoman grumbled.
"Hey, he saved us!" Roll pointed out.
"Treble & Axl risked a lot to come and help us!" Lan yelled.
"Who says it's not a trap?" Chaud asked.
"Chaud's right, Lan." Raika said. "They could just be trying to gain your trust."
"Then why didn't he let the Cyber Kracken delete Megaman?" Lan asked.
"It probably wouldn't have." Chaud said. "Axl said himself the thing wasn't complete."
"Ummm... Guys?" Maylu said.
"What?" Lan asked.
"Can we fight later?" Maylu asked. "The ship's falling apart..."
Maylu was right. The force of the Program Advance was causing the ship to slowly break apart.
"Megaman's knocked out!" Lan cried. "How can I get him out of there?!"
"I can't seem to jack Glide out..." Yai said.
"What's going on?" Tory asked.
"Those Cyber Pirates must have installed some kind of interference!" Chaud cried.
"What do you mean?" Lan asked.
"It could have been a defense program either in the ship, or the Cyber Kracken, it probably activated when you destroyed the Cyber Kracken." Dr. Hikari explained. "So that they could take you down with their ship. You can't jack out from there!"
"Meaning?" Roll asked.
"We have to get back to where we jacked in." Protoman pointed out.
"And how do you suggest we do that?" Roll asked.
"I've got an idea!" Tory cried. "Maylu, use a Wave Chip!"
"Okay...." Maylu threw in a Wave Chip.
"Yai, you use a Bub-V." Tory said.
Yai nodded, and used the chip.
Roll & Glide fired their water attacks. The Wave & Bub-V ran down the side of the ship with the rest of the cyberwater that was still on the ship from the Cyber Kracken.
"Now what?" Searchman asked.
"Blizzard, Battle Chip in!" Tory threw in a chip. "Iceman, freeze the water!!"
Iceman nodded. "Cyber Blizzard!!" Iceman fired his attack, the water froze!
"I get it!" Maylu cried. "It's a slide!!"
"Not a bad idea..." Chaud said.
Roll jumped down the slide. She landed on the floor of the Cyber Area. "Come on!!" she called out.
Glide jumped down next with Iceman. Then Searchman slid down.
RRRUUUMMBLLEEE!!!! The ship was almost gone.
"Protoman, hurry!" Chaud yelled.
"Roger." Protoman said.
Protoman threw Megaman onto his back. But the ship was disappearing fast! Protoman was losing his footing. Suddenly, the deck of the ship fell out from under him. Protoman started falling!
"Area Steal, Battle Chip in!" Chaud threw in a chip.
Protoman was thrown forward, but not quite up to the frozen slide.
"Oh no!!" Maylu cried.
"Yo-yo, Battle Chip in!" Chaud threw in another chip.
Protoman fired the Yo-yo at the slide. He pulled himself and Megaman onto it, and rode the slide down.
Protoman couldn't control how fast he was falling, and crashed into Roll, Searchman, Glide & Iceman!
"What are we, your throw pillow?" Iceman grumbled.
Everyone laughed. They all reached the area they had jacked in and logged out.
"Whew." Lan sighed. "At least they're safe. But what about Megaman?"
"I'll take care of that." Dr. Hikari said.
Dr. Hikari took Lan's PET and placed it into a computer. The screen showed Megaman with a bunch of level bars. They were all low.
"It will take a while to repair Megaman's Data." Dr. Hikari explained. "Looks like even with Cinnamon Soul, there is still a few side effects from the Force Metal Chips."
"But Cinnamon didn't show any when she created them..." Lan said.
"That's because she didn't use them, Lan." Dr. Hikari explained. "Also, she's experienced at making them, Megaman's still too new at it. I bet if Megaman could learn how to create them properly, they wouldn't cause this side effect..."
"Is that why the chips Megaman created almost deleted Gutsman & Axl?" Dex asked.
Dr. Hikari nodded. "Axl wasn't effected as bad by the 1st one because it was made by Cinnamon. Same with Megaman, that was also by Cinnamon. But Megaman didn't know exactly how to make the Force Metal Chips, so they were...."
"Somewhat incomplete?" Raika asked.
"Correct." Dr. Hikari said. "So they used power from the Navi to complete themselves..."
"Well that explains it..." Lan said.
"Because Megaman had the Cinnamon Soul, that's why he wasn't effected as bad..." Dr. Hikari explained. "Otherwise he would have been like Axl & Gutsman, only able to use 1 chip."
"I guess we should try to master Cinnamon Soul before trying to use it again..." Lan sighed.
Dr. Hikari searched through his desk. He looked like he was looking for something.
"What is it, dad?" Lan asked.
"One of the Synchro Chips I had here is gone!!!" Dr. Hikari cried.
